How was a week's stay at Blue Heron Cottage #7? A truly awesome experience for myself, my wife and our 2 and 7 year old sons!!! We live in Miami and wanted a relaxing week of vacation away at the end of July. I travel a lot for work, and so we often take vacations using Marriott points, which have... More

We just finished a fantastic week at the beach in Cottage #6. The owner makes it so easy to have a carefree and relaxing experience. With the addition of the full-sized refrigerator, one trip to the market was all it took for our F&B needs. As always there were beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach towels available for our use.... My family rented cottage 7 and 9. Both are two bedroom units and cottage 9 had a sleeper sofa as well. Short walk to the beach and the pool was nice. Only complaint would be the road noise from cottage 9, it's right off Gulf Blvd, but it didn't bother is because we sleep with fans for white noise! Also,... More

We stayed in cottage 1 which is located adjacent the beach. There' a nice deck overlooking the pool. While we were right next to the beach, you cannot see the water or beach due to a dune. The cottage was clean and fully equipped. The only complaint was that there was no bath soap for the first night, but we... More

I am staying in cottage #2. It is at the front of the property. It is clean, cute, and convenient. It has most modern conveniences. It is a family's cottage and photos of some very happy, beautiful, sun-kissed children adorn the walls. Rebecca, the owner, is very helpful. Although the property is beach-side, you can't actually see the beach. The... More

While traveling and staying on Gulf Blvd fall of 2013, I vacated another place and had two dogs with me. So, choices become fewer when traveling with pets. The owner accommodated my date needs to stay, was very reasonable on the room rate and stopped by personally. My sister was with me. We enjoyed the rest of the stay there... More

I've stayed in #9 several times and I've loved it every time. Updated, always clean, very large bathroom, two bedrooms, and the value is fantastic compared for what you get. There's also a heated community pool that is clean, inviting, and rarely used in my experience. Plus, direct access to a great beach and the Gulf. The location is excellent.... More

Staying in cottage no 5. Booked direct with owner found on VRBO. Joe couldn't have been more helpful, even picking up a crib I had ordered online as we flew in from UK. Cottage isn't large and is probably basic by modern standards, but it's comfortable and gas everything you need, and the beach is just a short walk past... More

We had a wonderful stay here. We had a late flight, but had excellent directions on how to obtain access to the cottage. We stayed in #6, which is 2 bedroom. It was very clean and had many nice features, such as the chairs, towel rack, outdoor shower. My only complaint is that there was only a mini fridge. I... More

My family and I stayed here a second time this last October. Our first visit was last year, same month. Feel free to check out my first review. We are a family of 4 (with two children 12 & 7), and stayed in cottage #6 for 3 weeks from the end of September until Mid-October. The owners of the cottage... More
