Was looking for a golf resort for a get-away with my wife. Wanted a great resort with higher end golf course- that didn't require caddies. We did the Golf Package and couldn't have been happier! We were THRILLED. This is a hidden gem- we definitely will be back! Grounds were immaculate, golf was great, room was clean with great views,... More

Beautiful grounds, Great food, Best massage ever. Great place for a Wedding. Everything in one place. Staff was great and was very helpful. We enjoyed the 4 days and would love to go back. Some of the best landscaping I'ver ever seen.

You're researching Mission Inn for one of two reasons: Either you're thinking about a golf trip, in which case I can't help you, or you're attending a wedding here and are curious what you're getting into. There I can help. This part of Florida is apparently test-driving locust-like plagues (blind mosquitoes, not actual locusts) for the apocalypse, and they are... More

Could be the worst hotel I've ever stsyed at and I travel every single week. Hotel may have been grand about 50 years ago but it is in desperate need of renovation or bulldozed down. Horrible rooms outdated AC system, uncomfortable beds, loud noise from hallways, terrible shower, miserable bug problems and absolutely awful food. Whomever thinks they can describe... More

My wife and I live near the Mission Inn and have patronized their restaurant facilities several times and have always had pleasant and memorable experiences there. I have also met friends there for lunch, most frequently using "The Nickers" facility. I have also attended Mission Inn's delightful car shows. Their service staff is fantastic, the food selections are infinite, well... More

A friend suggested we meet for Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet at the Mission Inn. Reservations were required. Cost was $39.95 each which included mimosa cocktails. A 20% gratuity was added to our check for this buffet. As you can imagine the place was packed. We checked in and waited a sort time to be seated. Our table was at the... More

golf courses are superb, beautiful grounds and the staff was great. The biggest policy problem is the lack of refrigerators in the rooms. The resort does have a nice coffee maker in the rooms but if you like cream in your tea or coffee you are out of luck. My wife ordered a pizza from room service. The pizza was... More

Beautiful grounds, great golf and wonderful food make this a great destination. Buildings old and charming. Even if you don't golf the scenery was worth being there. Staff was friendly and attentive. Spa had great services. Great conference and wedding services available too. Wonderful history to the place. Great packages.

Lovely landscaping. Had a hard time finding the ice machine but the wonderful pool made up for it. Loved the osprey nest near the pool. Only wrong note was an event bartender who volunteered - after hearing we liked Mount Dora - that the 'best' kind of people lived in Howey-in-the-Hills.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Mission Inn. We think our grounds are stunning and know our staff works incredibly hard to make them so beautiful. Unless we are aware of who the "proud local resident" is, we won't be able to speak with anyone specifically, however, we'll broach the subject in our next staff meeting! Thanks for your... More

Excellent Sunday Brunch Sunday brunch at the La Hacienda restaurant in the Mission Inn Resort is well worth the the trip to Howey in The Hills. Easy to get to from Orlando as it is just off the Florida turnpike. The brunch costs $35.99 per person and includes Champagne. No need to save room for dinner. There is a breakfast... More
