We spent a couple days in the Homosassa Springs Area. The whole river area is just neat. Last Resort was a good home base. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I stayed at this "resort" over Labor Day weekend with my boyfriend. The location was great since it was near things to do while still very quiet. What a special place this is! It is right on the River and just far enough away from all the busy busy other resorts like McRae's that it makes you feel so at home. Our stay was wonderful. The cottages are well equipped and the views are fantastic! They all overlook the Homosassa river. We watched dolphins and manatees go by during our stay.
