I stayed at this "resort" over Labor Day weekend with my boyfriend. The location was great since it was near things to do while still very quiet. The view from the balcony was very nice since it overlooked the water. The management provided a handful of brochures for local things to do as well as some restaurants in the area.... more

What a special place this is! It is right on the River and just far enough away from all the busy busy other resorts like McRae's that it makes you feel so at home. Our stay was wonderful. The cottages are well equipped and the views are fantastic! They all overlook the Homosassa river. We watched dolphins and manatees go by during our stay.
