We stayed at Angelino's for a week on the advice of Anna Maria Island Forum posters. Their advice was spot on. Our unit, "Barbados", was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a whimsical decor. The unit was well outfitted and the king bed very comfortable. The property has a lot of tropical landscaping and shade, which I'm sure is important... more

We cannot overstate our satisfaction with Angelino's Sea Lodge in Holmes Beach, adjacent to Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island. The owner, Richard, lives in the house next to the accommodations and is always available if you need anything. (When we were there, he was hard at work building a Tiki god statue for the front entrance.) All the rooms... more

We loved it at Angelinos. The scenery is great. We watched dophins swimming from our front window. It was a very short walk to the beach. Our room ( Dominica ) was very clean and nice with a full kitchen stocked with all the dishes you need. Richard was very accomodating and helpful with anything we needed. We are planning... more

Unfortunately, the place is really clean but although not advertised as such, it is not kid friendly. This place is not suited for families with small to tween kids. My children are very well behaved and we had the upstairs unit which when you walk apparently makes a lot of noise and unfortunately by our third night some really sensative... more

What a great find. This place was so laid back you would think you are in the 50's Richard the owner was so nice and very down to earth guy. We had a great time. more

We stayed in the Dominica, and it was nearly perfect. Spotlessly clean. The decor style was sort of eclectic. Loved the large shower with great water pressure. We did not have the problem some others complained about of not enough hot water--we had plenty. There were wall-mounted dispensers of hand soap beside the sink and of soap and shampoo in... more

Wonderful property tucked away behind tons of tropical foilage right on the beach. Stayed in the Dominica and it was great. Very large front room with view of gulf and palms. It was extremely clean with extra towels, soaps, shampoo, kitchen supplies, etc. We didn't need to purchase anything but our food and ice. Bed was comfortable and shower was... more

This place is wonderful. Spotlessly clean, very friendly and right on the most beautiful beach. The units are beautifully furnised and very well equipped. The hosts, Richard & Lynn, are great and are always on hand with advice on where to eat etc. We go every year and still can't get enough more

When we go to Florida we like to go to the gulf of Mexico as the beaches and wildlife are superb. We found this place, Angelinos Sealodge, which has four vacation units, all very well kitted out with everything you need. Even has kayaks and a bbq for you to use, and beach chairs and a hammock to laze in.... more
