The Waves serves a narrow niche market but if that happens to serve your needs, this is a very good choice. The Waves offers basic accommodations. The location is fabulous, it is about 100 feet down a very quiet street on the north end of the beach in Hollywood. The location and the price is where the value stops. No pool, ancient wall A/C unit, broken smoke detector, no regular housekeeping offered, told to sit towels outside door if I wanted clean ones, but better yet "just keep using the same towels", shower not very hot... However, room was clean and near the beach, full size refrig and kitchen area and very cheap. Just was looking for a place... more
My stay was absolutely beautiful, great attention, the personnel were all so helpful and nice, the beach was so pretty, I cant complain the place which was always clean and cozy. We felt very comfortable and for sure we'll be back. more

Me and a few girlfriends traveled to south florida for a weekend getaway from our men. We enjoyed how close the beach was (it was the main reason we were there!). i , stayed at the waves wwith my wife and it was steps from the beach, there is no street you have to cross to get to the beach and the people that work there were very friendly and were willing to help us get around town and find the hot spots near by it was a nice expiriance staying... more
