We have been going to Ginnie for well over 15 years. The springs themselves are incredible. Unfortunately over the last couple of years management has failed miserably. It has been overrun by underage drinking college students who do not need sleep. They are completely out of control. They are up all night blasting music throughout the campground, racing and revving... More

We go to Ginnie every year , once in June (w kids) and once in October (w/o kids). We have a wonderful time and have never had a problem. Stay away from Holiday weekends if you have children because it is more like spring break then camping. They even tell you that when you call to book for a holiday... More

First time to Ginnie Springs and won't be the last. Went there for my check out dives with my class and was reminded how beautiful nature can be. The water was 72 just like they said. We didn't camp but those that did said it was great. The bath houses are clean and all relatively close. The store had enough... More

Unfortunately I been there the last saturday of school vacations. To many people on the river and on the springs. But the place is wonderful, well organized, where you can rent any equipment for tubing, snorkeling and so on. I strongly suggest visit the place. Also possibility for camp.

I have been going to Ginnie Springs every year for 1 week in July with a group of over 100 friends since 1988. We have seen alot of changes to GInnie over the years, some good, some not so good. The Springs are spectacular. The Tube Run is fun, fun. Weekdays are the best time to visit, peaceful and serene.... More

I have gone to Ginnie Springs 8 times, some times it seems right out a college movie and sometimes it seems an undiscovered natural beauty. It all depends WHEN you go. Notice all the bad reviews were on major holidays, this park is very close to UF and I'm happy college students can enjoy this place and the crazy/awesome memories... More

I've been vacationing at Ginnie Springs about once a year for the last decade, twice in the last month, and it is absolutely my favorite place to enjoy the real Florida. From snorkeling in the various beautiful springs to a relaxing float down the river to being well fed at the cafe I'm just always happy when I'm here. It's... More

Like many things, ones opinion of Ginnie Springs is completely relative of where you're at in life. If you're into consuming large quantities alcohol, don't mind loud music or harsh language, enjoy the occasional fist fight and don't can make it a few days without sleep then Ginnie Springs is the place for you. I grew up in the area... More

My family of four stayed here for two nights with both my brother's and sister's families. My sister-in-law stayed three nights and was dying to go home after the first. She said she grew up going to Ginnie Springs with her parents and it was quiet and pristine. Not anymore. Heed the other reviews. Impossible to enjoy the nature here.... More

Beautiful springs, horribly managed. The staff is militant about making sure they get paid the high entry fee, but after you leave the (deceptively clean) camp store, there is no supervision or management of any kind. You quickly realize why there are "no refunds on entry fees" signs posted. Drunken college students, AS WELL AS, underage drunken teens everywhere. People... More
