This park is one of the most beautiful in Florida and I remember a day we could camp here with our kids and enjoy the springs in its natural setting. Now it's natural setting is 20 tents to a site, abundant alcohol. Kariokee and loud music till dawn plus all manor of undress and drunken behavior allowed and encouraged. Who... More

3 years I've been coming here and May 2013 was the best yet. Always nice people around us bringing over beer and food off the grill, this place is party central during Memorial day, Cinco de Mayo, ect. That being said this place isn't the best environment for family camping during these times since its not a state park, you... More

We chose Ginnie Springs over others in the area because we heard this was the only place that would let you bring drinks on river. We only went for a day of tubing, not camping. The registration/rental process was chaotic at best. I would recommend arriving with tubes. They have air to blow them up. We ended up buying some... More

Okay, so I am going to start this by stating that our experience was FANTASTIC (and I am not a big partier). I am not bothered by partying unless it's after hours 12-1am. Seriously, who really goes camping to sleep? Ginnie was pretty tame during our stay and I think they could benefit from a quiet area for families. This... More

First off, the grounds and springs are BEAUTIFUL! A real hidden gem in central Florida. We camped here 2 nights and had experienced both sides of Ginnie springs! We are 50 something couple and our college days are long behind us, that being said, We arrived on Friday afternoon, checked in and have to admit the staff was very very... More

Very expensive for what you get. Drunk people everywhere, loud booming music all day until midnight. They have a "no excessive" noise rule but it is never enforced because you don't see anyone patrolling through the campground. The bathrooms were filthy!!!!! Rude people dropping the "F" bomb while waiting in line with small children standing there. Tubing down the river... More

Title pretty much says it. I must say that the staff at the campground is friendly and helpful, but the normal friendliness you generally experience from other campers is completely lacking, probably because these aren't really campers, they are primarily drunken (or hung over) party animals with tents. The bathrooms are filthy and there are beer cans floating in the... More

I have been to Ginnie several time prior and did my dive training there many years ago. It had been 15 years or so since I had been but I was not prepared for what I found there July 20. The crowds were insane, lines out the door. It took almost an hour just to pay and park. I know... More

A beautiful untouched piece of nature. Wonderful for a cool dip on a warm summer day. There are 7 springs in total at the park but the prettiest one is Ginnie springs. The park is clean and well kept.

A large group of us camped here in June and I have been here on two separate occasions as well. Check in went smoothly but the price for camping at $20 per person per night is a little steep in my opinion ($12 for day pass). They do not assign the camp sites or the number of people allowed on... More
