Just came back with my son after 4 nights at the Diplomat Golf and Spa resort, aka Diplomat country club. We have also stayed at the sister property, Westin Diplomat on the beach. My son called the Westin Diplomat "Westin" and he nicknamed the country club "Eastin". We spent daytime at the Westin where the beach, the pools and restaurants... more

We just returned from a one night stay at this resort. My husband, children, and I were very impressed. The rooms were spacious , well decorated, and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful. It was so peaceful and quiet there. The restaurant was very good and the staff was so friendly. The golf course and the landscaping were beautiful!!! The staff... more

I obtained this lovely hotel through a discounter and paid only a fraction of the room price. I stayed here pre-cruise. The hotel staff couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. The rooms were totally beautiful, the grounds were incredible and I would give this a 5 star rating. It is very quiet and reserved, as opposed to the sister... more

Stayed the night before our cruise and loved every minute of it. The staff found out it was my wofe's birthday and shotly after checking in they sent up a Happy Birthday Card signed by the front desk and others. Not a big deal but in this day and age when service seems to be lacking a nice touch. more

Spent three days at this hotel prior to cruising over the New Year. From the moment we entered the reception area, we found ourselves in heaven! All Staff were polite and couldn't do enough for us. Food and drink areas were to a high standard. The golf course and ammenities were great. The hotel was very quiet during the evening,... more

Just returned from our two-night stay at this facility. It's interesting to not the T/A members echoed some of our impressions...lack of coffeemaker in rooms, slim selection of TV channels... My big beefs: 1. Valet Parking...the RESORT and SPA only permits valet parking, which costs more than $23 per day, after tax. Someone like me, who believes valet parking is... more

I just returned from a long weekend at the Diplomat. It is a beautiful property and the staff goes out of their way to ensure that you have a good stay. Pros- Beautiful, tranquil property. As a guest at the Diplomat, you have access to the spa facilities even if you do not have a spa appointment booked. This turned... more

Was in Hollywood/Hallendale for work. Conference hotel was booked (Diplomat Westin) and booked at the sister property down the street. Hotel is about 40 minutes from Miami Intl ~ $70 cab ride. Property seemed quiet, and I didn't see many other guests. There is a golf course on site, but I didn't get a chance to tee it up. Room... more
