Historic, very well kept, clean, comfortable and very cozy!! If you are looking for a traditional 5 star hotel, go to Marriott or similar. This is a small, cozy, interesting, very well kept historic hotel. There are only a few rooms, but pretty and maintaining the cozy atmosphere of the early 1900's. Jim, the owner, is a sweetheart who goes... More

We met friends here for a great dinner & drinks at Isabelle's. It's very charming and the patio was just beautiful. Dale was entertaining in his Sinatra style --- we really enjoyed the music and dancing. We spent the night in one of the two bedroom suites and our friends stayed in a one bedroom suite. The rooms were beautifully... More

We spent the Memorial Day weekend. What a quaint hotel and friendly people. The rooms were plenty big enough for my husband and I. There's a very long verandah which houses the restaurant Isabelle's. We had dinner there one night. What a pleasant experience just watching the scenery and relaxing. Unfortunately, we never made it to the piano/guitar area. I... More

We planned to stay two nights but due to an emergency only stayed one. We had planned to have dinner the 2nd night (our anniversary) but missed out on it. We talked to the chef the 1st day and he recommended his specialty a snrimp dish. We talked to many of the patrons who did dine there and ALL raved... More

This is the second time my family has stayed at this lovely, well kept inn, and we will return again next time we visit the area. The rooms are cozy with very comfortable beds, and are nicely decorated to the theme of the room. The town of Gulfport is very artsy with a number of galleries and gift shops unlike... More

We have stayed there a few times and it has always been a pleasant stay. The friendly owners (Alex and Jim) make it feel very muck like a B&B.' Free breakfast is simple (juice, coffee, breads, fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc.), but get enough to get you going. Bar is fun and pretty quite. Get Alex on he piano and it... More

The Peninsula's a quiet, hospitable B&B in Gulfport, close to the attractions of Tampa and St. Pete. It's an old, but well-restored, British Colonial-style building, with free parking in front. I stayed in the Prince Suite, which included an adjoining sitting room with a flat-screen TV. Breakfast is communal and can be enjoyed on the porch. Along Beach Blvd. are... More

Booked a two night stay based off of other reviews. I was extremely happy with my stay. Everyone that works there if very nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a romantic dinner I recommend making a reservation for 6 tables which is located on site. Numerous bars and resturants within walking distance and St. Petersburg is a short... I found this place on line, and 99% of the reviews were great. Now I know why. This place built in the early 1900's has the charm of days gone by, in a sleepy little, laid back town. If you are looking for water parks and a lot of wild night life, Gulfport isn't for you. But if you want... More

Everything is perfect: location, rooms, courtesy, quality, price. We have really enjoyed it, we couldn't imagine to find a so fascinating B&B in Florida. We have felt like living in a different, old fashioned and charming time.
