Although my husband and I usually travel to Gainesville together, this trip was a solo adventure. Everything that has us coming back continuously to this Inn was ten fold what I experienced as a solo traveler. There are so many reasons to stay with the gracious couple who open their home to guests: their warmth and genuine concern for meeting... More

Pat & Tom are very friendly hosts. They go out of their way to make you have an enjoyable time at their B&B. Each room has it's own unique touch, and they are very clean and comfortable. Some of the rooms have a balcony that you can go on and sit in the rocking chairs and relax. One of my... More

We enjoyed a second visit to Gainesville and were lucky to get a room again at Camellia Rose Inn. I liked that Pat and Tom remembered us from our first visit, so that made us feel more at home. The inn is lovely as ever and the service wonderful. We will definitely try them again next time we're in town.

The Camellia Rose Inn – What a wonderful find! My husband and I are avid football fans. We go to Gainesville in the fall for every home game and hated all of the chain hotels in Gainesville. When we luckily stumbled across a new bed and breakfast opening on a quaint little street several blocks from downtown, we thought, “How... More

We not only had a great proud family graduation celebration , we also had a beautiful weekend retreat at a relaxing, clean, accomodating b&b. We were all made to feel so welcome. I looking forward to our nest... More

My Daughter & Son-In-Law were attending a U.F. function and asked me to join them. We stayed at the Camellia Rose Inn, the most charming, friendly and clean , Bed & Breakfast I had ever stayed at. My late husband and I were regular Bed & Breakfast stayers but this by far was the BEST!!!!! Thank You Owner/Operators Tom &... More

Not just restored - built anew with central a/c, sprinklered and wiring. Extensive renovations, beautiful craftsmanship. Our room was beautiful. Private bath was all new. Breakfast was delicious each day, and we really appreciated the fridge with the supply of water and sodas. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Camellia Rose Inn. Pat and Tom were so friendly and welcoming and made our stay an absolute pleasure. Their pet-friendly cottage (Spat's Hidaway) allowed for us to bring the whole family and made our trip that much more relaxing. The inn is close to all that is going on in... More
