We had to bring our Yorkies to UF Small Animals Hospital for an evaluation and eventual tracheal stint for one of them; a very stressful week that was made so much better by Pat's hospitality and the comfortable "pet's cottage" we stayed in at Camellia Rose Inn. More

The Camellia Rose Inn is a lovely and peaceful place. We had 2 rooms, and each declared the beds magical - hand-pressed sheets! Quiet and comfy. Porches and rockers. Pat & Tom (the innkeepers) are so nice. The care they take in everything really does show. I plan to go back again soon to recover from the modern world. I... More

excellent place to stay near downtown. We were here on a quiet weekend and had the entire place to ourselves. It's 2 blocks from downtown. Great breakfast in the morning and wine/snacks every night. Highly recommended! More

This is a fantastic B&B. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. The property is perfectly maintained in a very quiet neighborhood. It is walking distance of University Ave. and several restaurants. Our room had a private balcony with rocking chairs. It was hard to leave to go to bed! The bed had fabulous linens. Bathroom was very spacious and the... More

We stayed here because we were in town for a wedding. The initial reason we called was that we saw the good ratings online and saw that it was pet friendly (we have a 60+ german shepherd dog which most places are not so kind toward allowing). I am so glad we found this place! The cottage was super comfortable,... More

We definitely appreciated the "late booking" special as we hadn't intended on staying in a hotel/B&B when we were in Gainesville. It was our first B&B experience and we are sold for life. Camellia Rose Inn provided a comfortable, cool, laid-back environment to relax and escape the summer heat. More

My wife always drags me to Bed & Breakfasts and I am consistently disappointed. My biggest problem with B&Bs is that the bed is always uncomfortable and the breakfasts are extremely disappointing. The Camillia Rose Inn is the first B&B I have stayed at where that is not the case. The room we stayed in was great and the bed... More

Pat & Tom are the best hosts! My wife and I stayed there for our 1year anniversary. This was our second time as guests at the Camellia Rose Inn. If you want a relaxing time call Pat and Tom. More

My Wife and I spent our 25th Wedding Anniversary with Pat and Tom. We stayed in the cottage which was a wonderful experience. The suite was spotlessly clean and the amenities were beyond reproach. It was our first experience with a Bed and Breakfast and the Camellia Rose set high standards. Sitting on the porch of the beautiful house, sipping... More

I spent 2 nights this past week at the Camellia Rose Inn and loved it from the moment I pulled in the drive. I was greeted warmly at the door and felt more a like I was visiting friends than checking into an inn. The rooms are absolutely adorable, the beds are divine! I haven't slept that well away from...
