We visited Gainesville over Memorial Day Weekend, to attend a friend's graduation from Vet School. Since we took the whole family (and our three kids have four legs each) we are usually limited to La Quinta, which is the only chain with all pet-friendly locations. The Camellia Rose Inn was a quantum leap in quality and convenience. They have a... More

My husband and I stayed at this outstanding B&B this past weekend. we were in town for our son's law school Book Award Ceremony. the house was wonderfully appointed, the bed was so comfortable. Our room was very quiet beautifully decorated and private. There were several patios to sit on and relax. Our breakfast was delicious. We will definitely return... More

A beautiful inn and grounds, relaxing porches, yummy breakfast and a friendly innkeeper. We had a peaceful afternoon reading on our private balcony and a great night's sleep on the most comfy pillows! Walking distance to "downtown" Gainesville for restaurants and nightspots. Will definitely be back!

We spent one evening at Camellia Rose Inn and it was wonderful. The innkeepers/owners were outstanding. They assisted use with selecting a restaurant and made us feel right at home during our brief visit.

This was our first experience in a B&B, and it met all of our expectations. Our room was very comfortable with a private bath. Pat has done a wonderful job restoring the property to period. Thank you, Pat, for a lovely experience. You have raised the bar high for any future B&B we might stay in. We would highly recommend... More

We stayed at Camellia Rose Inn this weekend to attend a friend's wedding. We travel extensively and, as a rule, we do not stay at B&Bs. We used to but stopped when we had a series of bad experiences in prior B&Bs. Our options were limited in Gainesville, however, so the Camellia Rose was the best choice available. This is... More

This was the perfect place for our romantic Valentine's Day getaway! We stayed in the Spat's Hideaway cottage, which was very comfy and private. Pat and Tom are the best hosts you could ever hope for. The home is beautiful, the grounds are lovely, and the location is perfect. The Inn is within easy walking distance to downtown, which is... I say this in many ways because of this amazing location. Unlike many visitors, I suspect, my hour were more erratic but they made sure turn have coffee ready (with a timer) in early AM and bagged lunches and snacks for me to take if I left before breakfast. What an efficient, well run operation! They could not have been... More

My friend and I stayed one night and it was fantastic! Chris is a super charming girl and her manners as well as her cooking skills are a true asset to this place. They have wine and crackers available for snacking at night and a breakfast in the morning that is just out of this world!!! The rooms are so... More

Absolutely loved staying here! Pat and Tom do a terrific job of making their guests feel welcome. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious as well. Would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a great all-around B&B experience. We will definitely return for a future stay!
