We stayed here during a medical visit at Shands Hospital. The hotel is quite new, very quiet, clean and comfortable. In a good location right off I-75 and Archer Road, close to shopping, meals, entertainment and attractions. The Social Hour was nice in the pleasant dining area. Breakfast had many options, something for everyone. Very friendly, professional staff made us feel... More

My wife and family stayed at this Residence Inn for an overnight stay. We had stayed here several times before and had enjoyed the experience. This time was not the case. Upon arrival, we notified the front desk that the bedroom was missing the television and there was only a television stand in it's place. There was no attempt to... More

I am mortified to learn that you were not treated the way we expect all Marriott Rewards Members, especially Gold Members, be treated. There are measures... More

I do business in Gainesville once a year, and I've stayed in half a dozen hotels. This is the nicest in which I've stayed. It's right off I-75, so it's perfect for travelers. And it's located in an area with everything you'll need while traveling...Target store, lots of chain restaurants, various shopping plazas. In a town that's not-so-nice, this is... More

Stayed in Courtyard the first night, just down the street. Moved here for 2nd night as breakfast included, room nicer (like a studio apartment with full kitchenette), large bathroom, plenty of towels, decent breakfast, friendly staff AND $40 cheaper per night than Courtyard (see my review there). However....highway noise a problem and deal breaker at both AND A/C unit here... More

It is conveniently located near UF and off I-75, but some things are lacking. Toilet paper is 1 ply, so it is definitely not top quality. there are no safety strips in bathtub, and our tv could not access nbc to watch the olympics..It said channel not available. Big disappointment. There was however, a nice social hour., including Salad. Lasagna.... More

Interior and exterior of this property are fantastic and surrounded by trees on most sides, so there's no traffic noise or bright street or building lights. The front desk staff are stellar; they even remembered my name! Unfortunately, the room experience was another story. Fixtures, tables, phones, etc. hadn't been dusted in quite a while, and while housekeeping replaced towels... More

I stayed here during week of January 6th. My room had a kitchenette and was more like a small apartment than a hotel room. Everything was in good condition and very clean. I especially liked the free food at the social evenings sponsored by management during weekdays. I plan on staying here during my next visit to Gainesville.

A great experience ruined by having to load my car in the rain. This is a new property that does not have a canopy over its entrance...why? Loved the room and everything else except the entrance. Got soaked because we had to load our car during an all day rain...

I have a pet dog and I don't want to board her so while I have been vacationing around the united states, I have been staying at residence inn, because they are pet friendly. I have been mostly pleased with all of them. However, I will say I was very disappointed with Gainsville I-75. First I will say it was... More
