I stayed here strictly off of tripadvisor reviews. We paid more since it was the Friday night before a Gator Football home game. It was worth it. This hotel is nice and new. We stayed there when we moved my daughter in to her dorm. The rooms are nice and clean. It is not a fancy hotel but has everything you could need, even a small pool. Great hotel! We live in sebring, 3-31/2 hours away. My husband visits shands twice a month. We have stayed at the hilton because they take pets, but for 135.00 a night plus a 50.00 pet deposit, you dont get breakfast, no microwave, no fridge, limited channels and the room had like a wet muggy feeling.
