My family spent five nights in Islander 706, booked through Brooks and Shorey. Two bedrooms, two baths. The good: Condo was very clean and quiet. AC worked well. Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Nice to have full-sized washer and dryer. Pool is large and water was warm. Beach was nicely groomed and plenty of chairs were... More

I loved The Islander Beach Condominiums! I had a beautiful view of the ocean from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. Easy access to the beach, and beach service was nice. Very clean and close to the Boardwalk, Gulfarium, several restaurants, and a very short drive to Destin. I would stay at The Islander the next time I am... More

Hubby and I stayed over Labor Day weekend for a quick getaway. This resort has perfected the family vacation. Lazy river, walk in pool, activities, white sand beach, and crystal clear water (no joke). Some places are so big or over crowded that you have to wake before sunrise to get a chair at the pool. Not here! Loved the... More

I was asked to write a review after our stay at Islander Beach Resort from 8/13/14 to 8/20/14. My review was posted on the Brooks and Shorey website for 2 days then TAKEN DOWN BECAUSE IT WAS A BAD REVIEW! Here is my review: Beautiful views and scenery, great location. The condo itself needs upgrading and attention. Some issues were:... More

Asher Redding the previous reviews I was a little nervous to book a condo here, but we actually lucked out and hit a nice studio, unit 305. It was nice because we had a coastal view and in the mornings I would sit on the balcony with my coffee and watch the ocean. I would highly recommend viewing your condo... More

Found body hair on bed sheets, floor is super dirty, oven door doesn't fully shut and handle is about to fall off, and closet door in bedroom is hard to shut. Also, cabinets do not have knobs and lazy Susan door is installed improperly. Would not recommend.

Unit 0202 in the main building is outdated. The refrigerator is rusty and the kitchen is old. I rewashed every dish and utensil as they didn't appear clean. The worst part was the moldy bathtub. Man it was nasty. The tub was rusted out around the base and only 1 lightbulb worked in the bathroom. A few positives; I only... More

We stayed 3 nights in Unit 5009 from July 18-21 - 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and two sofa sleepers - accommodates 8 people comfortably. Check-in was quick and easy and if it wasn't for the traffic jam approaching the bridge to Okaloosa Island, it would have only taken 5 minutes to get from the property management office on Miracle Strip... We've been staying in unit 7005 at the Islander for the past several years. Great unit, beautiful view, fantastic patio furniture. Just returned from a stay there and had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the all you can eat popcorn shrimp at Floyd's Shrimp House, Act4Murder dinner theater at Angler's Beachside Grill, breakfast at the Donut Hole and Joe and Eddie's.... More

Stayed here the last two weeks of May 2014. Three Bedroom. It was Nice. The Grill area is right outside the room and it gets a little noisy out there on Friday and Saturday night. It was a nice place, but the parking was not that great for the amount of rooms they have there. I always had to park... More
