My wife and I have stayed there twice. The place is unusual in that Martha's is a built-to-purpose B&B, well-conceived and executed. The rooms are impeccable, roomy, and tastefully decorated. Most importantly, the mattresses are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and roomy. The guestrooms are all upstairs and I don't think there is an elevator. We were never disturbed... More

Martha and Bill are such warm and welcoming hosts that we really did feel like family. Nestled under enormous live oaks this B&B is absolutely gorgeous and has a great view of the bay. Our room was large, comfortable and spotless.

Our experience was excellent. The B&B is located on the quiet bayside of Ft. Walton steps from downtown. Spacious with 5 bedrooms, private baths, an upstairs TV lounge, a main floor with conversation areas gorgeous views and a fireplace. Owners were available but stayed in the background. Enjoyed waking up to views of the bay from our King room on... More

I am a international jewelry broker, whom travels extensively. A business associate informed me about this DIAMOND, located on the emerald coast ie...."Santa Rosa Sound". Upon my arrival I was amazed with the outside Grandeur of this Bed and Breakfast. The outside of this Bed and Breakfast ie., home and lawn are exquisite. The view of the Santa Rosa Sound... More

We had the pleasure of staying here a few weeks ago. From the beginning it was a great experience. We found a friendly welcome note on the door inviting us to look around, orienting us, and giving our room assignment. The rooms are very clean, and we felt like we were at home. The view of the water is just... More

We highly recommend Aunt Martha's Bed and Breakfast. The home is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are extremely comfortable. The home overlooks the river and has some spectacular views. The breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit with yogurt topping, scrambled eggs, cheese grits, french toast, bacon, and raspberry cobbler. We highly recommend Aunt Martha's for a special treat!

I am a business traveler who is on the road A LOT! I discovered Aunt Martha's after several locals told me that this was head and shoulders above any place around. After staying this past week, I have to agree. Martha and Bill were wonderful hosts, and spent a lot of time talking about the history of the place and... More

We are locals who spend nights there just to 'get away' without going anywhere! We have put on several weddings at Aunt Martha's and have enjoyed them all. The rooms are lovely.. all with water views, walking distance to downtown and fun places there. The breakfasts are superb. It is relaxing and you feel like you have really arrived in... More

We had our wedding there October 2014, the house is very nice as long as you only want to look at it. If you wish to use this location for a wedding or any event other than sleeping in the bedrooms, make sure you are aware of all of Martha,s rules. We were not informed until the wedding was fully... This B&B is close to the small downtown area of Fort Walton Beach. It is a very nice place on the water, however, the view is partially obstructed by a very large home built on pilings over the shoreline. The place has great potential, but the housekeeping was sub par. Our towels reeked of mildew, and when I inquired about... More
