We stayed here (a family of eight) for ten days in April. Would recommend this condo for families. This room was well kept and came with a king, a bunk, a queen and pullout bed in the living room. We stayed in the Heron 303. I could have stayed in the condo the whole time, it was breath taking. The views were amazing and condo was so spacious that seven of us were comfortable. I hope to go again next year.

The pools and lazy river areas are very nice. They are better than some more upper class condos. The Condo Complex is conveniently located for both Destin or Ft. Walton Beach access. I liked the fact that there was direct bay access. The condo is a little dated, but still OK. I would stay here again.

We stayed here back in 2009...nice experience then, nice condo. We were supposed to stay in Pelican PH5 for 5 nights...we got in late and OMG. We travel alot and this was by far the DIRTIEST room/place we have seen!!! My family stayed at the Destin West Beach and Bay Resort April 2012. We had a wonderful time! The accomodations were clean and comfortable and the amentities were excellent. We enjoyed the multiple pools, especially the lazy river. Families will love the spacious resort grounds.
