the price for this resort compared to others in the area is a bargain. we stayed 4 nites last week and had a room with a queen bed and a RV sofa that folded. we had a small kitchen area with no counter space. we had a lot of counter space in the bath area. big enough to set a... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here June of 2014, it was the worst experince we had in our lives. When we arrived the floor was soaking wet with a piece of paper on it stating it was wet.. Thanks for stating the obvious. Room smelt horrid, bugs where everywhere. The door to the bathroom had some kind of quick fix... More

Rooms were clean and roomy, Staff was very friendly and helpful. You really don't have to leave to have a great time. I just wished we could've come with warmer weather. I promise we will return. They do have a hot tub, and a large pool, shuffleboard, and the boys loved the game room, If you try to book try... More

We had a nice two weeks stay in Marina Bay Resort. My wife, our daughter and I checked in on friday february 6. Our RCI-voucher said two weeks waterfront. Week one in roomnumber 113 and 113A and week two in roomnumber 104 and 104A. Wat we got was: first week in room 109 and 109A on the Courtyard and the... More

Mr. Stomphorst recently spent two weeks at Marina Bay Resort as a timeshare exchange guest. He apparently believed that two units provided to him by the exchange company, RCI, were waterfront units. His unit assigned for his first week (unit 113) was a courtyard unit. We moved him to unit 109, also a courtyard unit, because unit 109 is closer... More

Comfortable rooms in a well kept resort. Big warm swimmingpool and a hottub. Best place is at the waterfront where we have two balconies. On the waterfront you have the use of two big barbecues. There is a workoutroom and een sauna. Beach bikes are available for guests. Good service at the reception! Compliments for Charles!

We have stayed here several times over the last year and love the atmosphere. You can't beat the price for the value. They just added a brand new RETRO internet area, as they call it, and it looks just like a 1950's city. I love the heated pool and the boat docks overlooking the water at night is just pristine.... We reserved this through RCI. This is an old converted motel. Our 'unit' was 2 joining rooms with the door removed, and one of the bedrooms was converted to the 'living' area. 2 sofas, which were extremely uncomfortable and very old, a small kitchen set and a small kitchen area. The stove looked like something from 1950, we were actually... More

We are responding to the review by Collen M. who came to Marina Bay as a timeshare exchange owner through RCI. Many timeshare resorts are large purpose built condos with 2 and 3 bedroom units, larger kitchens, baths, etc. Marina Bay Resort is a former Sheraton motel and as such we will never be able to match those larger more... Rooms are clean and staff is friendly. We stayed here because we were using up RCI points and wanted a place in the Florida Panhandle. We had a 1Bed/2Bath Admiral Unit on the main level with a courtyard view. The courtyard is nicely landscaped, but if you can, I recommend getting a water view unit instead. The access to downtown... Rooms are very clean and quiet. Location is right there at the tourist strip and close to good food. Resort is old and maintained well. Just needs to be updated and newer furniture, cabinets and baths. Wi-Fi works well. Plenty of parking available.

Nice and clean. Rooms are a bit small. We had 1 bdrm/1 bath. A little tight -- Maybe enough for 2 adults and kids, but wouldn't try to do 4 adults. A Few casual dining and activities within walking distance. Beach area is about 15 minutes away. Beaches are beautiful. All staff were very pleasant and helpful.
