I booked four rooms online for my co-workers. They usually stay at Holiday Inn Expresses throughout Florida but had never stayed at this one. They will never stay there again either! When I was too tired to drive any longer, we stopped at the Holiday Inn Express in Ft. Pierce. First off, I have to say the desk clerks (morning and evening) were VERY nice. Needed a place that accepted 2 small dogs so we had few choices available in the Ft Pierce/Port St Lucie area. Past reviews here had me concerned but took a chance since HI Express has generally been good to us. First off I take exception to the HI Express web ad that lists this as a suburban area. Stopped by here during business travels. It's an old motel that's been kept pretty much up to date, but has problems. The first room I was in had multiple dead cockroaches on the floor and the Air conditioning didn't work. The staff was great and immediately moved me to another room where the A/C did work. We stayed here overnight on our way to Disney. The room was clean and even had a refrigerator and microwave. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The free breakfast was nothing special but enough to get us on our way. I wouldn't want to stay here for an extended period of time but if you are looking for something... more

Booked a room here over Christmas because they take small pets. The hotel in general was nice and obviously renovated but the room was terrible. So, so small and mattresses unbelievably uncomfortable. Overpriced for what you get. more

I stayed at the this hotel for the fist time and i loved it. The staff was very friendly especially a young lady called yvette. She help me alot. She recommended a place to eat. Will come back to the hoiday inn express in fort pierce. more

I had something stolen from my room and the hotel said that there was nothing that thet could do about it. Because of this, I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again! more
