I'll be the 1st to admit that this place doesn't look like much from the outside but if you follow my reviews you know that I don't put much stock in outside appearances. We had room 118 and my son and his girls had 119. Both rooms were the same....very comfy king size beds and a surprisingly comfortable fold out... More

I have stayed here twice before so I know how clean it is. It's a great location and we love being on the island. It's nothing fancy but very reasonable. We will stay here again and have told a lot of people about it.

My husband and I spent 4 nights (Monday thru Friday) and we were very pleased. Though not fancy, it had everything we needed and was clean and quiet. We brought our boat and it was so nice to have it readily available right at their dock as well as a small bait and tackle vendor. A convenience store was a... More

Lovely little spot. Spotless and very comfortable. Older? Yes. Run-down? I wouldn't say run down - out dated maybe. Stayed here off season with my daughter while we looked for a short term apartment for her while interning at the Smithsonian Center on the island. The staff in the front office were exceptionally helpful with tips for me and my... More

Had a great stay here! Very clean, nice and friendly front desk staff. They allow pets, too. The restaurant on premise, "on the edge". was very nice, also. The shrimp tacos were delicious and the fresh made pico was amazing! Can't any closer to the water! What a view!

We stayed one night in Feb 2014. The room was clean enough, however, it was in serious need of upgrading. Everything was old and worn and there was a distinct odor. The sliding door would barely open and close(in need of replacement). Considering the price we had to pay it should have been of 5 star quality. I would not... More

Dockside is clean and comfortable, and Lois at the front desk is incredibly helpful. We had a dockside room on the 2nd floor and enjoyed watching folks catch fish off the dock, pelicans and herons hovering nearby, and a parade of boats coming and going through the channel on the way to the ocean. Nice central location for exploring this... More

Great stay. Excellent view and very nice staff. Would stay again anytime. Walking distance from an excellent restaurant 'On The Edge'. Very nice. Definitely try to reserve a dockside room. Fishing was great and very reasonable . You can also have the restaurant cook it for you.
