Altho a very pretty location and very nice from the outside, once into our room, we found that the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, extremely low water pressure and virtually almost no hot water. Not sure what other's are complaining about .. but this place is great! .. The staff is wonderful . . they truely make you feel welcome and at home. Bugs in our room? DIdn't see any! Dingy lighting? What are these others complaining about? We stayed over this past weekend and paid $63 a night. Compared to what other hotels in the area are charging this place is a steal. This place is very outdated. The lighting in the rooms is dingy and depressing, the carpets musty, there were mosquitos in our room, the windows barely locked, and there was minimal water pressure in the shower, along with bugs. We checked out after one night. This place needs an overhaul. more
We were heading to Key West on theKey West Express and had made reservations at the Mariners Lodge. Our reservation was for a KING sized bed considering that my boyfriend is 6'9.
