We found Wild Wave by chance and we loved our stay. Jack and Sharon were awesome! Nice, welcoming, helpful and as they promised....pretty much left us to our own pace! The room was great! Kitchen, bed and bathroom. Felt like home! The balcony to sit and watch the sunset was exactly what we needed. Yes you have to get your... More

After I read your review, I believe we were staying at The Wildwave at the same time. I can not agree with your review. (Labor Day Weekend) The rooms are not the Hilton, Hyatt or the Marriott but they are CLEAN quaint Beach Cottage Motiff. As far as supplies for the room, if you read the Check In/Check Out sheet... Nice location by the beach..... But dirty apartments, crumbling down and not well equipped. Not enough toilette paper, paper towels or dishwasher liquid......you have to constantly keep asking for those goods to management.....leakage from the second floor into my bedroom because our friend took a shower in their bathroom......wi-fi did not reach our building.. And then to top it off....... More

Jack and Sharon, managers of the Wild Wave Resort, do what it takes to make you feel right at home. They keep a clean hotel, they make sure you are comfortable, have plenty to do...or are satisfied with doing nothing. But my favorite part of staying at the Wild Wave, and I'm an oft returning customer.....is the nightly meal. If... More

I am extremely picky about my hotels and have always been. I am that annoying constant room service, like my towels cleaned and room done daily type of person. My boyfriend found this location because he loves the beach views and even though it looked a little sketchy on the pictures, we gave it a go because the price was... More

My family has been coming here every Spring for over 10 years. The new management is great! They have been running the property for the past two years we've visited and they treat us like family. My two little girls love them! The units are very "retro" but we don't come to the beach for the rooms. Unit 1 is... More

If you are looking for chocolates on your pillow at night and French milled soap in your shower, Wild Wave Resort is not for you. However, if you are looking to walk outside your room directly onto a world class beach, if you are looking for comfortable, friendly accommodations, if you are looking for a place where the managers know... We happened upon the Wild Wave during the Shrimp Festival, we were having no luck finding a vacancy..We pulled into the Wild Wave and we received a warm welcome from Jack and Sharon. Other guests had just checked out and Sharon was quick to clean unit 3 for us while Jack guided to the grocery store. We felt like we... More
