We just spent 2 weeks at Manatee Bay Inn, Ft. Myers Beach, FL, this is one of many visits to this wonderfule B&B. Connie and Axel couldn't do a better job of making you feel like family coming home. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, walking distance to beach, restaurant and shops. more

My husband and I just returned yesterday (October 15, 2006) from a stay at the Manatee Bay Inn. I am suffering today from post-vacation depression! We loved the location, the surroundings by the pool/dock area and the service. The inn is quaint -- only 6 apartment style rooms -- so you aren't run over by lots of people and kids.... more

It was the best vacation taht I have had in years. It was just so relaxing and so quiet, but yet steps aways from all the activity on the island. Connie and Axel run a terrific B & B. Most fabulous B&B close to beach, we were delighted with this find for 14 days, the owners, are very friendly and welcoming our apartment was light and very clean. We loved the place at the first sight: the scenic setting on a lagoon where you really can see Manatees play, Pelicans fish and sometimes even a Dolphin The tropical pool is facing the lagoon and while you cool down you see the boats come into the harbor.
