My husband and I stayed at the beacon last week and it was the best vacation we have had in years. Bonnie, lindsey and heather were amazing. They went out of their way to make our week enjoyable. This is the best place on the beach hands down. The rooms are so clean and the bed was so comfortable my... More

The management was absolutely rude and disgusting. They even used profanity towards us. We had 4 moms with our 4 daughters on our spring break. They ridiculed us for having fun, degraded us and our daughters. Bonnie the manager went around telling other guest how terrible we were. Bonnie even showed another guest our daughters room, which was messy from... More

The pictures they post make the place look super nice. but let's get real it's trash, the staff is trash, the so called breakfast they give you is trash, and the people who work there are trash. The manager Bonnie needs to be let go, she calls people names and then threatens to kick you out. She is an awful... More

We stayed in this hotel with our six month old baby in one of the rooms on the ground floor. He was coughing all night because the room was very dry. We all slept terribly. The room was not clean or pleasant to stay in. And for $190/night, they tell you they don't provide shampoo "at this rate"!! For these... More

We liked our room, it was clean, we had beach view and access, parking, breakfast included, but felt very expensive! The room has a very loud AC, which I thought I would mind; turns out I was thankful for it, once I went to the bathroom, I realized how loud it is out there at night! It has a bar... More

Bonnie and her daughters do a wonderful job at the Beacon Motel. From the location, breakfast, clean rooms, and the new pool were all wonderful. What a great place. Where else can you BBQ, sit outside and talk with other travelers and enjoy the beach out your back door? It has a lot of charm.

My family rented a double queen room from Beacon Bed and Breakfast. On their website it said $194 a night and a $20 add on charge for a 3rd guest. However, once we arrived we were charged $244 for the night and after tax it was around $270. When we asked about the price difference from the internet to actually... More

I spent 3 nights at the Beacon. They call it Beacon Beachfront Bed & Breakfast, but don't let the name fool you--This is a motel. An old motel. The cute colors on the outside hide issues on the inside. The location is excellent. The property is partially beachfront, but most is blocked by a restaurant/bar that sits between the motel... our family stays at the Beacon every summer for a week. We rent 4 to 5 rooms. This is perfect for large family gatherings. Everyone gets there space and each day we get together for beach and food and drinks. We never need to cook even though each room has a kitchenette because there are so many places to eat... More
