Don't believe all the complainers. Those types will always find something wrong anywhere. My wife and I stayed here for four nights and we thought this was one of the best resorts on the beach. All rooms face the Gulf! We've stayed at a different resort on Ft. Myers Beach and for double what we spent here all we got... More

I had the most beautiful wedding on Lani Kai's beach. There wedding planner Danielle is absolutely amazing! I live in Chicago so all the planning was done through the phone and it was perfect. Now this isn't my first time staying here. I have been here for many a spring break and I am very familiar with this hotel. They... More

let's put it this way ,the place is a hole in the midst of the gold mine. security are not nice. the front desk and the housing staff are on point. but management is hmm.? not nice. and when we had a major issue in which my hand was caught in the elavator, no one other than those i was... More

This is an older hotel.. But... It is well worth to consider. All rooms have beach front balconies. A couple of restaurants for a gourmet meal or just for a burger is available. Beach is steps from the building, nice fine white sand. Would have given them an excellent rating if it wasn't for the fact of the difficulty in... More

If you don't get a disease here you might bring home bed bugs or cock roaches. This hotel should be condemned. The floors are filthy. The furniture is cheap and nasty. And it is do hot in the restaurants the staff is soaked in sweat waiting on you. unless you are looking for a place to lay your drunkin head.... More

This hotel is disgusting. It is very sad, because it could totally have real potential. It's a great location, very central to everything on the disgusting strip that is fort myers beach. I have stayed here a few times, and each time is worse than the last. The bedding is shabby, dirty, and disgusting to say the least. Same as... More

I'm a 30 year local so I've not stayed there since the Offshore Powerboat races don't run here anymore but I know a lot has changed for the better. Will try the restaurants soon because they have been upgraded. The rooftop is the best sunset view around and the sliders along the rail make you think you're on a cruise... More

We were spending a week in Cape Coral & decided to spend a couple of nights on the beach. Looked at the reviews & prices & chose the Lani Kai. Our stay was fine, I would not say that the hotel was lovely or really nice, but it was fine. I checked the room over when we checked in &... More

The initial reaction will not be good. We had to park across the street, but didn't move the car for 2 days anyway. The ground floor is designed for high volume, Spring Break business and it's taken a beating over the years. All the open air halls face the street, elevators were slow, but the room makes this place worth... More

1 Cathie Longworth reviewed Lani Kai Island Resort 20 mins ·  ★☆☆☆☆ Horrible customer service from a 'Manager' just now. Came back to our room after a long day of travel, to find our door WIDE OPEN (with ALL of our belongings inside) and a few Comcast Cable installation crew in our room. Bathroom ceiling ripped apart and nothing but attitude from the... More
