My husband and I purchased a staycation through a local radio station last June. We had a year to use it and it was for 3 days, 2 nights at the Sandpiper. Check-in was at 4 pm, so much for day 1. Checkout was at 11 am, day 3!! The room was okay - sitting area, full kitchen, balcony which... More

The hotel was very nice. Our room was situated beachfront with lovely views. I do not think I would have felt the same way if we were located next to the pool area. Front desk staff were very helpful and informative. One thing to note is that the property is situated a bit out of the downtown/central ("Times Sq.") area... More

We had a great stay at the Sandpiper. It's very low key, no drunk maniacs running around. Family friendly and a good value. No complaints whatsoever, we recommend it. Clean place, great beach access, feels very safe, and well kept.

This property offered a nice option with the kitchenettes and the BBQ grills onsite. Even though we were in the height of Spring Break season, we found the resort to be quiet, relaxing and very enjoyable. Great beach views.

It is hard to believe that there could be better buys for your money than the Sandpiper Gulf Resort. While not huge and pretentious, you couldn't ask for a more relaxing, attractive, convenient nest on the beach. And the coffee is always fresh and hot. Two nicely sized pools [one for adults only, one for 'family'] both within 50 yards... More

The rooms are very clean and the staff do a great job. They've done some updates and it shows. Still some updates for style to go but really is a great place to stay on the beach. Comfortable beds. Parking is limited and one night we return late and had to park down the beach at a friends. The security... More

Just stayed here for spring break. The rooms have a full sized refrigerator, microwave, 2 burner stove, and dishes, silverware, & pots and pans. Even though we had a pool view room you could still see the beach/ocean from our balcony. Quiet part of the beach away from the college spring break crowd, but we had our college age son... More

Got the last room as a walk in so paid the full price. The rooms are a bit dated for European taste but practical with a small kitchenette. We went shopping and made our own continental breakfast there for two mornings and they were the best breakfasts of the whole trip overlooking the sea and the wonderful beach. The room... More

We booked a second floor room right on the beach. We could open the sliding glass door to our balcony, leave the screen door closed, and let the sound of the ocean lull us to sleep. This worked because the hotel is located mid island, where it is less touristy and quiet. Beautiful view from our balcony. Made coffee and... More

Nice resort. Great view. Nice balcony. Housekeeping was not great , parking horrible....those would be only two complaints. Pools were very nice. First time to ft Myers beach was told fitness center was located at sister property did not realize sister property was miles away I assumed they were close. My fault for not asking needless to say we did... More
