Time to start rehabbing if all the rooms were like ours. Tile floors cracked and popping off, fresh paint needed, etc. Also whats up with everything chained up outside? The best location on the beach, too bad FMB looks like a ghost town with half the businesses closed up. Also they should clean up the beach(too much sea weed). Hotel... more

Our romantic weekend was very nice, the beach is just okay, I live in Florida and the water is actually much nicer the more south you go. The hotel was nice, but by no way luxurious. For a romantic weekend getaway I would have liked more amenties and room service. The location is very convenient but the area is just... more

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever seen! I did not see a speck of dust on anything! We also enjoyed getting to know the staff & the owner a little bit. They are all so friendly & helpful!! My entire extended family stayed over the weekend to attend a wedding at The Edison Beach House, and we all... more

From the time of check-in to checking out the service, at the front desk was outstanding. Accomendations were excellent, room was very clean, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and bathroom, including a washer and dryer in the bathroom was there for our convenience. I's just a short walk to shops, bars, restaurants and anything you want to... more

We live in Naples, FL and often go to The Edison Beach House just for long weekends. It is like an Oasis for us, and everything there is always so perfect, and we just love the staff and the owners; so, we decided that we couldn't pick a better place in the world to get married. They were so accommodating... more

We had a gulfview 2 bedroom suite. It had a beautiful view, however there were alot of little details that were overlooked. The pool pump made a constant very loud noise when we were there. It was all we could hear on our balcony, not the sounds of the waves. We really noticed how bad it was when we walked... more

The reviews are all correct - the Edison House is really great! We stayed 3 nights. The room (407) directly overlooked the beach/ocean and this was by far the best possible room! We had two beds, but used only one. It was comfortable. The flatscreen TV was such a nice touch! Kitchen was fully equipped, and the washer/dryer was extremely... more

Not to be redundant, but the Edison Beach REALLY is a wonderful place. This is our second stay and I can't wait to go back again. The place is just spotless. It's also has the perfect location. Although we did use our rental car for Publix and restaurants on the other side of the island, the location is supurb for... more
