Our stay at the GullWing was great! We got a free upgrade to a larger condo, and the condo was huge! The kitchen was very large and well-supplied so we could cook in occasionally instead of eating out. The condo was very clean but also very comfortable. Even though it was located at the quiet end of Estero Island, it... more

Just got back from a long weekend (2 families w/ children) and we were all very pleased with this facility. I love that it's not your typical 'resort' and very family oriented. Very easy to check-in and check-out....even 'after hours'. Our condo was immaculate, everything worked and it was very spacious. My only complaint was the loud crowd/family/group at the... more

We live in Cape Coral, FL about 15 miles away. We chose GullWing as a second choice to sister resort next door , Pointe Estero. We had some friends that stayed at Pointe Estero and we spent the days there a few years back. It was very nice. However, it was booked for the weekend we wanted to go. We... more

Perfect vacation value for people vacationing with family or friends. Would not recommend for single couples looking for a resort type atmosphere. About Gullwing Gullwing Beach Resort is located on the quite south end of Estero Island. They are a block of privately owned condominiums that are managed by Sunstream Resorts... the same organization that manages Pointe Estero, right next... more

My mom, sister and I spent 4 nights here, April 23-27 2009. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo suite (island view). And, to our surprise, we also had a nice view of the beachfront from the lanai. Every utensil you could need is provided, and we had fun cooking lobster on one of the 4 patio grills. The staff... more

We had a wonderful time at the Gullwing Beach Resort. We stayed in Condo 1205, top floor, sweeping views of a wide powder white beach. We stayed in a 3 bedroom, ocean front condo which was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. We found the front desk helpful, the paper supplies addequate and the Publix grocery store convenient.... more

We stayed for 3 nights in a 3 bedroom highfloor beachfront condo with 2 other couples. This makes for very affordabe when split three ways. It was beautiful. The beach is absolutely one of the best beaches I've seen. We didnt pay extra for the maid service and you would think with the price your paying they could have thrown... more

Just back from our 5 night stay at the Gullwing (Sun-Thur). Traveled with husband and 2 yr old son. Exceeded our expectations and that doesn't happen often! We got a fantastic deal via travelzoo.com and only paid $150 a night for an island view one bedroom, which normally goes for ~$300! The island view rooms are on the sides of... more

Just came back from Fort Myers Beach. The resort was wonderful. Comfortable, clean, plenty to do. We stayed in the three bedroom bay side suite and had a lovely view of the beach too. Beach was the widest and softest sand, walked for miles. Trolley stop just outside of the resort that took you anywhere you wanted to go. I... more
