Based on the reviews I've read so far, I may have been hesitant to stay there had I checked this website out before going. But, I can confidently say that I was pleased with the place as a whole. I ended up staying in this hotel for almost a week. The hotel employees were all friendly. The white stuff floating... more

How many ways can I say awful?? This hotel is years (decades?) beyond needing a rehab--the rug was stained, the furnishings old and I didn't want to touch the blanket on the bed. Eeewwwww!!! The plastic under the sheet made for a tough night's sleep .The mineral springs had something floating in it for two days. The hotel is located... more

We drove from Orlando directly to Fort Myers. We expected a different place because reading the travel guides seemed to be an outstanding place. We stopped in this hotel which was not really as expected. It was in the middle of nowhere, far from the beaches, staff was friendly but the room was not really very clean. the bathroom was... more

Pictures look nice. Dilapidated "mineral spring" pool reeks of rotten eggs, mortocycle truck stop bar, dirty rooms, pet infested as well as we were with fleas. Enough Said? more

We needed somewhere to stay in the Estero/Fort Myers area of Florida for 1 night and found the Best Western Springs Resort very close to where we needed to be. We just turned up and booked a room which looked OK, clean and tidy with good shower, 2 double beds etc. The hotel had a small pool roadside (full of... more

We were captivated by the lovely photograph of what looked like a luxurious pool area. My compliments to the photographer. The mineral springs reek of sulfurous vapors and after coaxing our sons to try a downwind site for a dip, they popped out quickly as it was too cold. Likewise the actual postage-stamp sized pool. The rooms were adequate but... more

What a great spot in South Fort Myers directly on US 41. Easy to get to and centrally located to the attractions and Gulf of Mexico. After a hard day of fishing it was good to return to the mineral spring water and some libation at the Tiki Bar. The rooms are like new and service was perfect. The restaurant... more

stayed for one night after very long drive and in need of a bed for night. Was given last room available - sadly a smoking one - which smelt strongly of cigarettes. It was a room at the front which was very very noisey - and this combined with the plastic undersheet on the bed and soft mattress did not... more
