-Carpets in both rooms were so dirty they turned our feet black. -Outside walkways are black, in need of a major power wash. No reason for this in common area. Disgusting. -Only have one person working front desk during check out time, which is breakfast time, leaving the person to re-fill breakfast area and do checkout. Understandably each person was... more

The reviews seemed pretty mixed, but HOJO is a reputable chain and since we needed a room for just 1 night, we decided to give it a shot. My husband and I were very impressed from the minute we arrived to when we checked out. The front desk staff was friendly, fast, and efficient. We had requested a king bedroom,... more

The outside of this hotel looks very old. The staff was nice and friendly. If you want a so, so room, get the Riverview. I've heard comments of the parking view rooms and didn't want to risk the night. The room was very clean though. Illumination was good. They sprayed a lot of Lysol to take the bad smells out.... more

No bugs, no odors, no bad matresses, and security is disguised as the guys drinking beer in trucks (only kidding.) The view was great ; breakfast was great. Pincher's Crab Shack across the street (41) has good waitstaff, food, and "Yard Dogs" swamp music band on Sunday afternoons. The desk people are all sharp, and will fix whatever is wrong.... more

This hotel has two sides --- the side that faces the parking lot and the side/section that faces a gorgeous view of the river/city/and bay. When I checked in with a reserved rate of $59, I was placed in the less desirable parking lot side. This room/side was sort of worn out; appeared to have seen better days. There were... more

I should have cancelled my reservation! It was a dump! The box springs had the covers falling off. The room smelled. The employees were very nice but the place was too old and dated. more

We were here on a stopover while heading south. We had a river view room on the second floor for 79 bucks I think. For that money, you can't be too choosy and so our expectations weren't that high but we quite liked the place. The front desk were helpful and quick and the room had a nice view across... more

I was attending a business meeting in the area, and their standard list of hotels listed this one as being nearby. The website made it look good, it had free wireless wifi, so I was sold. Check-in was fast and easy... so was check-out about an hour later! I put my stuff in the room and noticed a few little... more

I stayed there for 7 nights. It's not in a great part of town and it wasn't very convenient if you are there to go to Ft Myers Beach. The room was dirty. It didn't look like they ever moved anything to vaccuum, thier red carpets had dark lines around all the furniture. The pressed board furniture that they had... more

I booked a three night stay on business. After five minutes in the room I should have leanred my lesson. The sheets and pillow cases were stained. The mattress had black mold spores. Conveniently located behind and near three chicken places (KFC, Popeyes and Churches). I slept in my clothes with towels over everything. At around 2:15 am, I was... more
