The breakfast was terrible. The "hot" food they say they have isn't really hot. The eggs looked terrible and there's not enough room to get your food with all of the guests crowded into one spot. The water pressure was horrible in the shower. We had a small child and they weren't very accomodating considering we had cups that needed... more

I sincerely apologize for the crowded breakfast room- we encourage our guests to enjoy breakfast in their rooms or out on the pool patio area. When the hotel experiences a high level of occupancy, we attempt to double the space available to our guests for breakfast by opening up our meeting room. We have amended our variety of hot breakfast...

I stayed for one night at this hotel which was not very nice and my visa was charged at the time for my stay. Country Inn called me 4 months later saying they were charging me again. After a telephone exchange where I was told to mail a copy of the charge but was not given an address I never... more

From time to time, hotels will undergo a management change. It's the nature of the business. When that change occurs, the priority usually is to clean up any old accounts that were, for any number of reasons, left unsettled. In this case, your reservation of February, 2008 was found to have been unsettled. Without any contact information available to discuss...

We stayed with our 11 year old son for 6 nights mid-April and the twin Queen room was $114 plus tax. We thought this was a reasonable price for Easter break and compared favourably to motel-style accomodation without pools asking for similar prices actually on Sanibel itself. We decided this was a better option and paid the daily causeway charge... more

Try to pay no more than $100.00 in the high season. Pet Friendly Hotel. Rooms quite clean, but not perfect. Breakfast is a mad-house frenzy during peak time. We stayed in a 2 Queen bed, non smoking with 2 young children. It was fine. The workout room is small ( 2 tread, a bike, and a step machine). Overall, if... more

We have stayed here before, because we liked the convinence and were excited to share that with others this time, to be set-up for disappointment. The pool looked disgusting. The pool was cloudy and had debris at the bottom. The water pressure in the shower and sinks were so little, that you could hardly get the soap out of your... more

I make no excuses for the description of the pool. We usually maintain the pool in excellent condition and clarity- and you can be assured that this is an isolated instance and serves to remind us of its importance. The hotel is built on a sand base, and we have to monitor the faucet and shower screens for full water...

The hotel is very close to the bridge to Sanibel Island and less expensive than staying on the island. It is an ideal location if your objective is to visit Sanibel. The continental breakfast is in a pleasant dining area and as good as a continental breakfast can be. For dinner there is an outstanding gourmet restaurant nearby called The... more

We stayed in a room with two beds for $110, hard to beat, especially since we were five minutes from the bridge and all that Sanibel had to offer. This is a nice, well-run chain hotel with all the basics, small fitness room, small pool, small rooms, easy parking, felt safe, good cleaning, no big problems. My only small issues... more

We need a place to stay for one night near Sanibel. Staying at the Country Inn was les than half the price of any condo I could find on the island. Still, thanks to location, location, location, it's not cheap. The suites are roomy and sleep 6 which was the key for us. The tvs (2) are basic ones but... more
