During a 10 day easter trip we stayed in 3 Hyatt places in Fort Myers, Tampa and Meadowlands NJ and this was the best one. I am not sure why people say this is (quote) "not the best Hyatt", I argue you could say the opposite. It has a nicer than average pool area, the staff was very kind and... More

I have stayed in many Hyatt Place hotels. I like the nice room layout, which is pretty much always the same. So, when you return, you know what to expect. However, I will have to say that this hotel (or at least my room) seemed to have been heavily used; I don't know when this facility was built, but it... More

This hotel is new and clean. Friendly staff. It's right on the highway, so I would only do a one or two night stay. It's a little far from the beach and the tourist attractions. Breakfast was also very good, and super comfy beds!

Hyatt Place has turned out to be one of my favorite places to lay my head while on the road, and the Fort Myers location was no exception. Great room, pool, staff and an amazing breakfast. Although there is very little right around the property, within a short drive you can find anything that you may need.

We had two rooms and stayed on two different occassions on our way to and back from Key West. The hotel is located in an area being developed, with no stores or restaurants within walking distance but plenty of areas to drive to. The rooms: Our king bed was comfortable, the sheets could have fit a little better, the light... More

More upscale than I usually stay at - but was excellent value compared to other area hotels - would definitely stay again Hot breakfast was excellent - staff kept replenishing it , and left food out well past the advertized close or cut-off time.

Stayed at many Hyatt Place hotels in the past and this was up there with any of them. A couple of negatives, one is that they ran out of towels on Tuesday, and we did not get our share. We had to go to the desk when we returned from supper to get more. Second is the desk clerk on... More

Let me start off by saying that it appears that this hotel either lacks a management team or there is a lot of training that needs to be done. Breakfast was a disaster and was completely understaffed. Why would you not staff appropriately during the most important part of the day? Do you really want your guests to come down... More

We were visiting the Naples / Ft. Myers / Tampa area for a week and booked this hotel based on a lot of positive reviews. However, upon checking in and going to our room we were amazed to discover that the total storage space for the room consisted of an extremely narrow closet with enough room to hang maybe 4... More

We very much enjoyed the Hyatt Place. Rooms were spacious and we had no issues with noise despite the hotel being full both nights. Clean, cool, AC which is very important to my wife. A very kind staff. Our kids used the pool and enjoyed it. Perhaps the pool could be further landscaped or privatized, but it didn't matter on... More
