We had the sincere pleasure of staying in a suite in Captiva tower. The view was incredible !!! The staff were true professionals and helpful. We found Captiva tower much more quiet and relaxing. We are looking to go back in the very near future !!!

After a week on Sanibel Island, my family stayed in this hotel for one night before flying home the next day. We had two rooms reserved. There was an issue at check in which the hotel worked to resolve quickly. The hotel has a high volume of guests. So the lobby area is busy and sometimes loud. There were many... More

It took the front desk three tries to program our room cards to actually open our room door. I called the first day at the resort regarding the fee for internet. I was told it was included in the room charge. Actually there is a resort fee of $15 per day for the use of pool towels AND the internet.... More

The Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort and Spa is not up to the Marriott standards. It is very dirty, the room decor is dated, and there are numerous service related issues that you want to consider before staying here. The hotel is too expensive for the service and accomodations they offer. I paid nearly $300 per night per room. I have... More

Spent two nights at this hotel in the Captiva tower. This tower is a shuttle ride to the main hotel and while quiet is not overly convenient. Rooms are large but need better attention to cleaning, especially flooring (nail clippings on carpet, visible debris under the bed. Bed quality is good. Bathrooms could use rennovation, escecially the tile floors which... More

I attended a business conference at the hotel and stayed for 2 nights. The property is what you would expect from a Marriot, albeit one with a great view, and several nice pools located across the bridge from Sanibel Island. The rooms were clean, and the service was professional. I was very impressed with the banquet staff who serviced the... More

Our stay started at the Parrot Nest on Sanibel Island. Great Inn. Quiet and relaxing. We went on the Sanible Thriller. Great fun for families or couples. We ended our trip with a two night stay at the Marriott Resort. Stayed in the Captiva Tower. Quiet and not so busy. The staff at check in was superb. Charlies bar was... More

We have been coming to this resort for the past 18+ years. It has definitely changed, and not for the better. Our decision to return here has been based on past memories and not current experiences. The property is showing its age, but mainly because little things have not been maintained. Then the little things add up. It used to... More

Not sure this is what I'd call a true fitness resort/ health spa. Gym is OK, portions of the spa was being renovated, limited healthy dining options. Bikes available at the resort are terribly old and in poor condition; bikes can't leave resort grounds and there's nowhere to ride them. Fitness trail is quite short--serious runners/ cardio types would be... More
