We were here during the SuperBowl week and I couldn't have asked for a better location and more comfortable room! We were on one of the upper floors and had a spectacular view of the Harbor. At nights, you could see all of the boats and downtown lit up and was in a great location to just walk around to... More

I am an owner at Marriott BeachPlace & have exchanged at other Marriott & non-Marriott resorts. All are unique. This is an "urban" resort. Marriott BeachPlace is a high-rise, surrounded by some of Ft. Lauderdale's poshest resorts, yet laid-back, with a beautiful pool/hot tub area ( yes shade is predominant by mid-afternoon) and within easy access to everything. The beach (sunny)... More

In reply to other reviews, I am not old and I do not have children................although that is what most Marriott timeshares are designed to accomodate. I have owned a Marriott timeshare for over 10 years and I have stayed at many.....Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Williamsburg, Panama City, to name a few. I have always been pleased by the quality of the... I've purchased my first BeachPlace timeshare in 1996. We loved it so much we purchased another week two years later. The beach, villas, restaurants, and location is great... The only problem is the elevators (no big deal). How much do I love it? I trade my Hilton Head week so we can go down a 3rd week. If you love... More

We booked this hotel due to the ability to get a 2-BR, since we were traveling with a party of 6. Price was over $500 per night, which I assumed would mean we were getting a relatively nice hotel. In reality, we were getting a room in a tired, cramped timeshare building, built on top of a somewhat downscale strip... More

All of the people who leave bad reviews are either old or are coming here with young kids. I am amazed at how they seem shocked that "Fort Lauderdale is noisy during spring break". DUH. Next they will got to New York during New Years and say its "too crowded". Think people. I have been to over half of the... More

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott Beachplace Towers March 7th to the 14th, which is during college spring break (more on this later). We exchanged our Orlando Marriott Grand Vista unit to go further south due to the cold winter in Florida this year. This worked out well as the weather was good most days. I won’t get... More

I was in town for business and wanted my wife to have quick access to the beach. We got a suite for around $320 night. Very roomy and clean.

We exchanged our week through Interval and reserved our date a year ago to make sure we got the Super Bowl Weekend and it was also my husband's birthday. The resort was great, the view was wonderful and the location was in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do. We invited another couple that had never stayed... More

Was here a year ago and wondered if they made any improvements. We were not high on the place back then, but the location brought us back. You should know there's no real entrance to this place ... you get to it from the garage - not very impressive but functional if you have a car. So many restaurants nearby... More
