I placed my cell phone on the nightstand one evening because I had set the alarm. To my dismay, in the morning, the phone was covered in water and not functioning. The in wall air conditioner was just above. I was on a business trip, and lost all my contact information. When I brought the matter to the attention of... More

Love this place. We had staying at some of the other gay male properties in FLL and this one definately exceeded our expectations. We usually know what to expect, but this one was just a step above the rest. The staff always made us feel that they can do anything for us. The choices of pools is definately a plus.... More

My partner and I booked a "stay-cation" here at this resort. While nothing was too wrong, it was also not a place to which we will go running back. It seems that gay men are under a mistaken belief system that a gay resort needs to be sexually charged and that below average accomodations are deemed acceptable. If that's what... More

You could find more elegant and trendy boutique hotels in Bali, in California and yes probably even in the Miami area, but at the Worthington, everyone you meet seems to have been there before and will keep coming back. From Birch Road as you drive up to the compound, the Worthington doesn’t seem like much. From the outside, it looks... More

My partner and I just spent a week at the Worthington and had a wonderful stay. The property is well-maintained, and full of tropical trees and plants. There are 3 pools and 2 hot tubs, and more than enough lounge chairs and tables to enjoy the sunshine. Our room was a one bedroom suite directly above the office (#210). It... More

Had a lovely time, very close to the beach. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, always with a smile and available to help out. Very clean rooms and lovely outside areas. It was somewhat quieter than expected for a clothing optional resort and most people are in fact clothed for much of the time but nevertheless the location and the helpfulness... More

The Worthington still ranks at the very top of South Florida all-male guest houses. When it expanded a bit more than a year ago by acquiring the neighboring Villa Venice, there may have been legitimate reasons for concern that the Worthington's vaunted reputation would suffer. After all, any company that increases capacity by 50 percent invariably runs into glitches and... More

There is a reason for the "average" rating..Typically this is the best gay resort & we love it and speak very highly of it. However there was a VERY annoying group there that completely monopolized the Worthington side of the 3 connected resorts. This group came last year as well during the 4th of July weekend and we had to... More

The staff here makes a big difference in that they're very courteous and helpful. In fact, some remember you between visits. Free breakfast in the mornings helps with the food costs of your trip, and some rooms have a full kitchen. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and modern. I enjoy the ambiance and usually, the other guests are pretty... More

I stayed at this property in March 2014 before departing on a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale. As a gay man, this property truly offered everything I could have asked for...and more. It was close to the beach, had its own set of pools and saunas, and boasted some of the best customer service I've experienced while traveling. The rooms... More
