“Tropical old south florida style yet newly updated ,modern .”

Stayed at The Winterset Nov. 2012 and Dec 2013,,Love it. They kept the charm of old south florida, with all new rooms ,,modern but still classic, we stayed on second floor over looking the pool, Our room was big and roomy with lot's of windows. “Funky and affordable”

The location was great for us and for the most part it was nice a quiet. Priced right, affordable and still nice, clean, friendly, and a roomy suite. The Staff was extremely helpful, we asked for a toaster and they got it for us quickly. This place is really, really clean and we loved the retro feel.

“Needs refreshment.”

Stayed with my husband in April 2013. Good location if you want to be close to the beach and still quiet. The outdoor environment with pool area Is very nice and clean. The staff is kind and welcoming. The rooms need refreshment and bed is not very comfortable. What you can expect of the price.

“Retro and relaxing!”

Everything about this place was amazing! It was retro, looked like it was out of the 60's, and filled with everything you needed for a great vacation with a perfect location. “Great place to stay and relax!”

We booked the Winterset after seeing the rave reviews online, and we were not disappointed. I absolutely loved the vegetation all over this little resort. You really feel like you're enveloped in a tropical setting. My best moments during our vacation consisted of me laying in the shade by the pool, rotating from the (very nice) hot tub and pool.... The location to the beach is great, the staff are very helpful, the grounds and room was really good for the price and would recommend to friends. The only complaint was that after hours check in procedure is not advertised on web sites.
