Very Disappointed with Elysium Resort - The Grounds not nearly as nice as before . The pools not as clean as before - theirs a scum ring around top of pools - looks like has not been cleaned for a while .

I'Ve been staying here for several years and was considering going elsewhere until I heard that it's under new ownership. It's better. The staff is new and the new manager appears very interested in changing a few things to improve it. The changes are small yet I feel a difference. The clientele is the same as is the welcoming environment.... More

After staying at another resort which was friendly clean and relaxing . I was very disappointed with Elysium I understand it has been purchased and if I was the person who has I would be exceptionally worried as the current staff are destroying what could be a great resort . I have never felt quite so disappointed with service the... More

We took the Sunday afternoon to search out a couple resorts for our planned visit in May 2014. We arrived at the Elysium around 4:30 pm and rang the desk from the front entrance. We asked if we could come in to see the place and request a price list for our up coming visit. The staff told us he... More

To our surprise we learned during our 5th visit as many had last weekend that the Elysium had been sold last November. Everyone was still awesome but Gary seemed to have a bit of an attitude the week we were there. We noticed as well as others that the cleanliness of the place was not at it's usual high standards.... It isn't common to find a large place like this where you feel like you are the most important person there. The host should teach a class in how to be gracious to guests without being intrusive. Breakfast time was wonderful in part because of the friendly atmosphere created. The property was clean and quite lovely. Yes, there are a... More

I'm glad that my partner and I checked several hotels before finally settling on the Elysium Resort. All I can say is that we had a wonderful time! The owner and staff were extremely nice and helpful to us during our entire stay. We loved the tropical setting - it made for a lot of privacy, and provided a very... More

The property is clean and well maintained, but it is quite large, and sread out over 2 buildings with a lot of steps to get to the common areas (flights, not just two or three). We had a room on the main court and even with the blinds closed and the curtains drawn, it was still very bright... Our bed... More

We are sorry that this guest was not happy with his stay. We provide fresh brewed Starbucks blended coffee all day in the office. Since our rates are very reasonable we do not include coffee in the room but we do have packets available in the office. While we only have three levels the Jacuzzi is placed between the two... More

I had a long weekend stay. I booked a suite which was very roomy. It felt like an apartment from the 1930s. The overall condition of the property is good, albeit largely original. My guess is that it was built as a seasonal hotel for Northerners to hide out the winter months. The staff was kind. The location is fantastic!... More

This is not the most modern resort in the aera, the rooms are outdated but it's my favorite cause it's the more laid back. The atmosphere at night is so relaxing. The staff is really friendly and dogs are allowed in the suite that open on the street. Places like that are so hard to find. 2 pools, 1 hot... More
