We stayed here for two nights after our cruise. The hotel is in a good location, right on the beach and close to the pier and airport. The staff was great, really helpful and friendly. We expected a whole lot more from a 3 star Sharaton hotel. Appart from a fairly decent lobby this is nothing more than a motel. Shabby rooms with dirty carpets and worn furniture. How this hotel can be a 3-star hotel? I guarantee that this hotel is worse than almost every 2-star hotels. My room was dirty, and had really bad smells I've never experienced. Moreover, all the furnitures and doors looked at least 30-years old. Maybe I got a worse room due to Priceline bidding, but this hotel really sucks. Only good... more

I stayed from September 22 to September 28. Overall great stay. Check-in was easy. I would reccomend if you have a car to valet for the extra $2 a night. Many places in Fort Lauderdale do not offer free parking, mostly metered at $1/hr - so 24hrs valet for $14 is CHEAP! I was staying in the South Tower (connected... more
