We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights before boarding a ship for a cruise. Great location, close to beach had a marina view, beautiful room the whitest sheets I have ever seen. Plenty of restaurants in the area close to the cruise terminal. Lovely hot cookies on your arrival, coffee facilities , refrigerator and microwave in the room . Very... More

As a Diamond member with Hilton, I have stayed at many Doubletree hotels. While the service and staff were good at the Bahia Mar, the physical facility was not up to expectations. The building was old, the elevators had mechanical issues (causing my family to have to walk 14 floors - twice), and the rooms actually had PVC plastic chairs.... More

The hotel is very nice off first impression, bigger than what I expected. When you first arrive they give you warm cookies and are very good with customer service. The rooms are clean ans the beds are comfortable the only thing I didnt like was there were no draws. Not every room has a balcony so keep that in mind.... More

We stayed one night before meeting up with family and enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk along the beach which is just across the street. The hotel is also within walking distance of lots of restaurants. Our room had a partial ocean view and partial marina view which was great. The room was clean with a king bed... More

We stayed at the Bahia Mar for two days-May 2012 for our 30th anniversary- considered many hotels looking for easy access to the beach and a nice pool to relax in before our cruise with breakfast available. This hotel was everything we looked for - safe access to the beach by the overstreet walkway which also leads to a convenient deli... We had an ocean view room in the main building - we thought we would have a balcony that you could sit on, but it was really only big enough to stand on, not a huge issue, but one member of our party (we had 3 rooms in total) is a smoker so they ended up moving to a marina... More

This hotel is great! I loved the location it was close to everything. The room was really nice it had obviously been renovated, and the beds were super comfortable. Housekeeping was great we asked for extra towels and toothpaste and they came up right away. The bellman I think his name was Jon ( a little bit of an older... More

The location of this hotel relative to the beach is very good. It is connected by a raised walkway/bridge to the beach. Valet and self parking are expensive (to be expected) but convenient. Although the hotel is a bit isolated from the others along the beach, it is within walking distance of restaurants etc. Our room was in the main... More

We stayed here one night pre-cruise Easter weekend. There are some really great things about the location. It is across the street from the beach, has a deli on location and you don't need a car to walk to good shopping and places to eat. The room is very average but did have a fridge. The bathroom is tired looking.... More

I spent the last 3yrs at the Bahia Mar Yacht Club, this year I didn't go to Florida. I would have stayed there again until I read the recent reviews! What a change! The last two years they said they were "improving" the hotel, sounds like it went way downhill. Plastic chairs? My last stay they had paper coffee cups... More

Dear Sandi B, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay at the property. Since the refresh, we have updated our TV's from 27 inch tube to 40 inch 1080 LCD with HD services, added microwaves, refrigerators and new coffee makers. We also do have disposable cups in the rooms and well as glassware upon request. I am... More
