Booked the Lago Mar after reading the reviews at Tripadvisor and have to say that I was really feeling good at this resort. The hotel as such is in a great location in Southport. It has a very nice private beach, unfortunately the weather was really bad so we could not swim in the ocean, but only in the pools.... more

Just returned from a girls weekend at Lago Mar and really enjoyed it. Probably the best feature of this property is the beach... it is a nice,clean stretch of sandy beach, and if you're in an oceanfront suite as we were, you are literally on top of the beach.
