If you plan to visit the Fort Lauderdale area and tops on your wish list is a good ocean front hotel, close access to lots of watering holes and you don't need 4-5 star quality, this resort is for you. My wife and I stayed here for a brief 4 night trip in April and had a good (not necessarily... more

We stayed here for one night in March 2009 on our way to Key West. I wish we had been able to stay longer. This is a very nice hotel right across the street from the beach. It was easy to get here from the airport, and it's close to Las Olas Blvd also. The front desk clerk was very... more

The Courtyard Ft. Lauderdale Beach is perfectly located. We had never visited Ft.L before, but this was the perfect place to experience hip night life, a semi-private beach, & roomy rooms. We really enjoyed the 2 separate components of our room: the front "foyer" with hide-a-bed with television & the bed with television beyond the dividing wall. The beachfront in... more

Whether this hotel has a great location or a terrible location is a matter of opinion. The Courtyard is the southern anchor of the busiest stretch of oceanfront in Ft. Lauderdale, adjacent to restaurants, shops, nightclubs, municipal parking and the crowds and noise that go with them. The beach in front of the hotel is crowded with young partygoers, daytrippers,... more

My son and I spent one night here before continung on to the Dominican Republic the next day. I used Marriott points for the room, so there was no cost. The hotel was FULL to bursting and felt like a madhouse. I spent time at the very pleasant if crowded pool bar and had dinner there (mediocre food but really... more

I enjoyed this hotel. I like that it wasn't a huge hotel. Right by the beach, and you definitely need a car. It was clean and nicely decorated. The roll-away beds were worn out and needs to be replaced. Room service, housekeeping service was really quick and accommodating. I would consider staying here again but next time would rent two... more

After reading the good reviews with Tripadvisor and staying in previous Courtyards, I expected a clean and newly renovated hotel. A few of our friends, my husband and I reserved two nights in a bay view room five months in advance. Instead we received rooms overlooking a parking lot. When we tried changing the room, were told no other rooms... more

I seriously could not have been more pleased with this hotel. The rooms were very clean and nice. It wasn't a Four Seasons, but the hotel looked like it was brand new and was spotless, and the location was EXCELLENT. Lots of amenities too - I appreciated all the computers downstairs and printers that made it very easy to print... more

We arrived at the hotel at around 9:30 am on April 24th to spend the day and night celebrating our anniversay. Not only were we able to check in that early, we were upgraded to an ocean view room free of charge. The view was amazing from the 7th floor. The room was very clean, the king size bed was... more

We stayed here for one night before a cruise. The hotel is across the street from the beach (as are all buildings in the area), great restaurants around, and nice area to walk around in. The rooms are clean, well maintained, a typical courtyard, but the thing that made this hotel really stand out was the staff. They were all... more
