My husband and I stayed 1 night at this property, before driving to Miami to go on a cruse. What I liked about this motel was that ALL the reviews were that it was a very clean place to stay. And that it was. I had to move the night stand out to plug in a charger, and it was... More

We were looking for a place to stay for Memorial weekend. Everything around was at least $50 more... They have 4 properties that connect on the inside. You can use 4 different pools. They have bbq grills with utensils available. The room had a little kitchen with full size fridge and stove with oven. When we opened the door, we... More

We've stayed at the connected properties (Napoli Belmar and Birch Patio) and its consistent. Clean, reasonable, and pleasant. We don't want a high rise hotel, we much prefer pulling up and parking within steps of our room. Its a block to the beach and block to restaurants etc.. I love AM walks along beach watching the sun rise (followed by... More

When I opened the front door to our room, my first impression was Wow! It has a fully-equipped kitchen and it's basically a miniature apartment. There's plenty of space and it was super clean. I met the cleaning lady today and she was amazing. She offered to bring extra towels and even gave me shampoo and conditioner that they normally... More

If you are looking for design this is not the place to be...if you are looking for a good, clean room for a low price with friendly people, a great pool and only 2 minutes from the beach, this is definitely the place to be! The complex is divided in a few motels with different names with 4 pools. We... More

This hotel was one of three on the same property (owned by same person??) so the grounds were expansive and shared by all. There were 4 pools (the one closest to the office is heated), lounge chairs, bar-b-q's, picnic tables, even a bocce game area and laundry facilities. The room was spacious with kitchenette and separate bedroom. There were two... More

Hi guys -- We stayed at Birch Patio, one of their sister properties, earlier in our trip. So on the way back through we called to make rezzies there, but they didn't have anything available. That's how we ended up at Summerland Suites. I much prefer Summerland. Our room was spacious. Sparsely furnished but adequate for our needs. As with... More

Apartment 305 (left of the parasol): spacious living room with (separate) nice bedroom, little bathroom and complete equipped kitchen. There was (luckily) a tiled floor (unlike Americans we do not like carpet) that like the rest of the apartment and the outside were cleaned in tip-top condition. There was Wi-Fi, we had 2 TV's, a nice sitting area (couch and... More

Summerland Suites was the only hotel I could find in Ft. Lauderdale that met all of my requirements. Those being: A suite with at least one bedroom and a separate sitting/TV room, a kitchen with fridge and stove, able to rent for a short 3 night stay, an easy walk to the beach (2 blocks) and access to nightlife (about... We stayed there for two nights during the Boat Show - this is maybe why the room was overpriced for what it offered. The studio was wide enough, but ugly enough - it looked like an hospital, few old furniture scattered around the place with no taste at all, a place without any atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, but the... More
