Have stayed here at least 10 times since opening day. Physical plant and service definitely need some tuning up. Hopefully they will get their act together soon and justify five stars. More

Room 1108 .....absolutely beautiful room, view and service! When we arrived the evening of May 1st, Front Desk Manager, Sarah Bitzer made sure we had a room and level of service we would expect staying at the Ritz-Carlton Ft. Lauderdale. We were not disappointed. We had stayed at two other competing properties over the past year and Sarah wanted to... More

Went on a girls' trip to Ft. Lauderdale to soak up some sun. Instead, we were soaked by a three day monsoon like storm. The wind made the rain horizontal, so we could barely even leave the hotel. Thanks to the Ritz for making our stay so pleasant, with the fabulous bathroom, delicious food, and Gerard in the bar pouring... More

Ritz Carlton is always a RItz Carlton. Beautiful hotel, great great room, ocean view, nice pool and very good location. Service was not so incrediable - Restaurants are not so organized and I have to pay for internet in a hotels like that. More

Ask and you shall receive. We checked in for a 4 day stay in February. I asked for the best available room at our rate and they bumped us up to a one bedroom suite with a huge balcony on an upper floor. The service started that way and continued throughout our stay. More

Although the hotel is not as homely as some others, it still has the Ritz trademark classic standards. I find the Ritz to be consistently one of the best hotel chains and the Lauderdale property is as exceptional as the others. It seems to be getting more popular as it was a little 'quiet' on earlier visits especially just after... More

I stayed here for a conference and loved it. It's located right on the beach and there are plenty of dining, shopping and nightlife options within walking distance. I took a cab from the airport instead of renting a car and it was only $25 including tip. The hotel has a pool, cabanas, a fitness center, restaurant, bar and several... More

Arrived at the Ritz Fort Lauderdale at 11am after a seven day cruise for a two night stay. We were immediately greeted, and found that we had been upgraded from an ocean view to an ocean front king. We also received $100 for the spa and Continental breakfast, as part of the Platinum American Express Program. 10th floor overlooking the... More

I stayed at this hotel in February for 2 nights. There was an issue w the room's carpet. I'm pretty sure the previous guest had an accident. The room had an overpowering smell of cleaner when we walked in. About an hour later, I noticed my feet were wet when I walked by the side of the bed. I was... More

Spent a week at the Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale during Spring Break. Had wonderful accomodations in a one bedroom suite on one of the top floors. Beautiful views of the ocean. Renovations were being done above us and woke us up early in the morning. We were upgraded to a Presidential Suite. Had a large balcony. Service was attentive. Ritz... More
