A true 5 Star Hotel. From walking in for check-in to departure, the staff greets you and speaks to you. Beautiful hotel. Food is marvelous as well. Great location to everything with a beautiful beach.

We stayed here during a convention. The hotel itself is okay the staff wonderful. After 24 hours they knew our names and took excellent care of us. We hardly waited 2 minutes to get our car from valet Richard and Kevin were wonderful. There was always 2 cold waters waiting for us in the car. Check in went smoothly. The... More

We spent several nights here and loved this hotel. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. Ou room was on the seventh floor which is the floor that the pool is on so instead of having a balcony we had a large, semi-private sunken patio. The service was top notch from the bellman to the beach attendant. We especially enjoyed... More

We stayed here in July 2014 with our adult kids and infant grandchild. While this is not the most luxurious Ritz-Carlton we've stayed in the staff more than makes up for that. We found this hotel to be very family friendly. The front desk staff were very attentive to the baby and presented her with a little gift at check... More

We spent two nights in room 1121 on our way to the Bahamas. I'd give the hotel a 9 out of 10. I'd rate the service at about an 8. The location is average. Our room is spacious and very nice. The room has light colored walls and light carpet. The bathroom is also light. We are very picky and... More

Overall this is a nice hotel, but as Ritz Carltons go, this property needs some work (both rooms and service). We stayed here in July 2014. Here are some factual observations: 1. The room had what appeared to be blood on the carpet (see pic). Even if it wasn't blood, it still looks like blood and the gross factor is... More

I have so many great things to say I'm not sure where to start. I went for my anniversary and they sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne with balloons and chocolate dipped strawberries, truly amazing. The room was big and clean - we did have an issue with the shower having hair In it but housekeeping was in our... More

Heavenly is the best word to describe this hotel. Was in a large oceanfront room that was beautifully appointed. Both the room and the view were outstanding. Every single person I encountered was kind, professional, friendly, helpful. Enjoyed breakfast on the porch and the staff actually went to the coffees shop to get me a particular latte the dining room... More

This was our 5th time back at the Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale (twice when it was still the St. Regis) and as usual, we enjoyed our stay. As we checked in, Ebony, was as pleasant and helpful as could be. Ted stored our bags while be waited for our room to be ready. We requested for the same room every... More

we couldn't expect more from a hotel. Our room was the best we've ever had, with views of the ocean, intercoastal and the beautiful city. The room was spacious and very clean and the bathroom was huge and so luxurious. Each person that we encountered greeted us with a sincere smile and offers of help were abundant. The bar and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The area's newest luxury hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale infuses the Gold Coast with casual luxury as the city’s first and only AAA Five Diamond hotel. The 24-story, dramatically tiered and glass walled structure has sweeping curves that are reminiscent of a luxury liner. Design elements recall the 1940’s, with artwork that includes playful murals inspired by French artist Jean Cocteau and a 13-foot high mural of a seascape inspired by the 1880 painting, “King Neptune and His Horses.” The property features 192 guest rooms and suites; a 2,200 square foot Club Lounge, 24,000 square feet of light-filled meeting space; a 29,000 square foot oceanfront sundeck with an infinity pool and private cabanas; destination Spa with an organic and active-botanical treatment menu and a water-view fitness center. Four dining and entertainment options include the new Via Luna Italian grill with seating indoors or al fresco on an oceanfront patio, the dramatic oceanfront Via Luna Bar, a private Wine Room with a 5,000 bottle wine cellar and a seventh floor Poolside Café with commanding ocean views. ... more   less
