I have so many great things to say I'm not sure where to start. I went for my anniversary and they sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne with balloons and chocolate dipped strawberries, truly amazing. The room was big and clean - we did have an issue with the shower having hair In it but housekeeping was in our... More

Heavenly is the best word to describe this hotel. Was in a large oceanfront room that was beautifully appointed. Both the room and the view were outstanding. Every single person I encountered was kind, professional, friendly, helpful. Enjoyed breakfast on the porch and the staff actually went to the coffees shop to get me a particular latte the dining room... More

This was our 5th time back at the Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale (twice when it was still the St. Regis) and as usual, we enjoyed our stay. As we checked in, Ebony, was as pleasant and helpful as could be. Ted stored our bags while be waited for our room to be ready. We requested for the same room every... More

we couldn't expect more from a hotel. Our room was the best we've ever had, with views of the ocean, intercoastal and the beautiful city. The room was spacious and very clean and the bathroom was huge and so luxurious. Each person that we encountered greeted us with a sincere smile and offers of help were abundant. The bar and... More

Had a planned weekend for a few staff members. After a bit of a rocky check in ( rooms were wrong ) the general manager, Mr. Cook stepped in and made everything happen. It was truly a wonderful stay. Cannot thank him enough. We all enjoyed paradise at the Ritz!!!

They totally have it down here. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Parking available by valet only and it's $35 a day. A little pricey I think for a guest but I guess it's the Ritz and they can charge it. Valet always offers to see if your need directions and offers you a cold bottle of water on every... More

My husband and I went to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Fort Lauderdale for our wedding anniversary. It was a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly, smiling and helpful. They are really there for you. We booked a oceanfront room. The size of the room was good, the bed great (king size), the bathroom nice (bathtub and shower).... More

This will be my first review after two days of being here. The hotel is beautiful and the staff can't be any friendlier. Front desk, bell hops, maids, the whole staff greets you with a smile and makes sure you taken care of. Club level has great food and service. The staff in the club level are very attentive to... We went to Ft. Lauderdale for the first time in May for a long weekend. Our first impression was a good one when we arrived at the hotel and the doorman warmly greeted us with a big smile and said "Welcome to the Ritz Carlton Ft. Lauderdale" When we entered the lobby and approached the check-in desk, we were greeted... More

Amazing & attentive staff! Scotty, Donnie & Ben can take care of (almost) any request with professionalism & a smile. Patrick @ the Via Luna bar picked it up for the evening shift & served up some tasty martinis! Food coming out of the kitchen was uninspired. The only good mussels are on the staff!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The area's newest luxury hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale infuses the Gold Coast with casual luxury as the city’s first and only AAA Five Diamond hotel. The 24-story, dramatically tiered and glass walled structure has sweeping curves that are reminiscent of a luxury liner. Design elements recall the 1940’s, with artwork that includes playful murals inspired by French artist Jean Cocteau and a 13-foot high mural of a seascape inspired by the 1880 painting, “King Neptune and His Horses.” The property features 192 guest rooms and suites; a 2,200 square foot Club Lounge, 24,000 square feet of light-filled meeting space; a 29,000 square foot oceanfront sundeck with an infinity pool and private cabanas; destination Spa with an organic and active-botanical treatment menu and a water-view fitness center. Four dining and entertainment options include the new Via Luna Italian grill with seating indoors or al fresco on an oceanfront patio, the dramatic oceanfront Via Luna Bar, a private Wine Room with a 5,000 bottle wine cellar and a seventh floor Poolside Café with commanding ocean views. ... more   less
