My husband our two boys and our best friends with their two children..... We decided to stay an extra day because we liked it so much. This was a post cruise downtime before we made the drive back to Canada... Our kids didn't get out of the pool evenings were spent walking down the beach to many of the shopping... more

This Motel really is a HOT tip and much better than some well known hotel chains. The rooms are spacious, no stinky carpets (thank God!), super clean and friendly atmosphere. The price we paid in early August was amazing-> 65$. To clean and hugh Ft.L beach it's about a 5 minute walk. The Birch Patio has 4 pools which all... more

One week in late may, excellent value for money. The motel was not a 5 star, but if You want that - book at the Hilton, half a mile away, and pay the price. Easy walking distance to beach, and to the beachside shops and resaturants. The management and the room service was very fine and friendly. The only bad... more

Good location close to the beach and restaurants (although the main eating places are a 10-15 minutes walk). Close to a water taxi stop which is great method of getting around Fort Lauderdale as parking is relatively expensive and in short supply at peak times. Very helpful and friendly owner (Angela) who has an extensive knowledge of the area. And... more

I always smiled when read reviews from some people that expect that a 2.5 or 3 stars hotel/motel just because has great reviews should have the same luxury or accommodations of a 5 stars hotel. But if it’s true that it’s more difficult to find greats hotel (clean, great service, location etc) when they have lower stars, or at least... more

Stayed at the other resort the Napoli. They did not have a regular room, so we accepted the effeciency. This location is great, for the price. Room is large but sparce. Bathroom really needs and overhaul, and our room backed on a huge wide open garbage bin. Room was fairly clean, beds were good. If it were not for location,... more

Thought we were booking the Napoli Belmar Resort but found on arriving it consisted of three main areas and were in the Birch Patio. The Birch Patio motel complex consisted of a pool and a two storey motel building probably built in the 1970s or before. Our room was on the ground floor by the laundry facilities. The room appeared... more

Sparkling clean. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful, providing extra pans for our kitchenette. Angela and the front-desk folks were wonderful, finding three unique rooms for our extended family: kitchenette, suite and apartment. The pool and patio are great! Close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Recommended! more

Friendly staff, quiet location, clean, and great value----all this and a block from the beach! Great for people wanting a kitchen----but if you're not doing that, there is a breakfast bar a block up the beach to the right that makes great eggs, toast and hash browns for 4.00. I felt quite comfortable as a single woman staying here. more
