Stayed 17th November for 3 night in room 204 a large ground floor twin king room with TV, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee M/C (no coffee provided) and good size bath room in a quiet location with no traffic noise. Motel is located 2 blocks back from the beach with bars, restaurants, and local shop within a 15/20 walk North or South.... More

Just spent two nights at the Birch Patio Motel. It was the cleanest and best smelling beach motel I have ever stayed in. I do live in Florida so I have been to many. Very quiet and "off the beaten path" yet it is withing walking distance to Beach and restaurants. Very pleasant people that run the establishment! Full kitchenette... More

Our family stayed for 10 days at Birch Patio Motel. We LOVED it so much. First the room was clean, the A/C was already running, so no humid pillows and bed. 2 min. front the Ocean on foot, easy access to a heated pool, laundry machines, close to restaurants and souvenir shops. The maid always made sure to come at... More

All the reviews I read about this property were spot on. Unfortunately,I did not ask enough questions about this property when booking. This would be an absolute 10 on a 10 scale if you had a car and booked on the ground floor. Check in is at another property a block away. This was a pre-cruise booking, and we had... More

We found this small gem just two small blocks away from the beach. Surrounded by mighty Condos and many stars Hotels. The facade is non- pretending but the rooms are just what most people look for: quiet and VERY well furnished rooms (even kitchenettes are available). Linens were impeccable. The cleanness of the rooms remained us of European hotels. We... More

My wife and I enjoyed a three night stay at this little gem of a place. At check in the owner made us feel very welcome- she was lovely to chat with. No, it is not a multi story modern hotel with all the amenities but what it is is a retreat that you will not want to leave at... More

I really liked staying at this place; it is a family run hotel which seemed very social and was not too far from the beach (2 or 3 blocks). The rooms were spacious and while a bit dated, fulfilled their purpose except one room (comment later). It is actually a series of a few hotels (3) with different value rooms... More

The Birch Patio Motel is a small, comfortable motel located at about 3 minutes walking distance from the beach on the north side of Las Olas, next to the Bonnet House Museum / Gardens and Hugh Taylor Birch state park. Small Venice area can be seen looking west from Birch Road with its luxurious mansions and yachts docked at the... More

You will expect the most from a hotel that is not flashy nor dull! Birch Patio offers the amenities that big hotel has with prices that is better rated than less expensive hotels. The quality of service, room cleanliness, and full kitchen are by far the best rate Birch Patio offers. I stayed for three nights at the suite. The... More

For the price, Birch Patio is *great*: for under $65, you get to stay in a big, clean room that is less than five-minute's-walk to the beach (the rooms have the typical big-white-tile beach-hotel floors). The reading room has a selection of novels in European languages, particularly Finnish, per the ownership ;) The courtyard pool is a clean, LED-lit bean... More
