Great place to stay in Fort Lauderdale. Nothing extremely fancy, but it has everything you need for feeling good plus the beach is just 3 minutes walk away. Not very stressful for the budget either and of course John is one of the nicest hosts I have met so far.

Vistamar Villas was just what I needed to get away with my children from the gloomy Pittsburgh winter weather. This small classic 1950's style Florida hotel is well run and is like a home-away-from-home. The suite (room 116) has a full kitchen, a very large living room area with dining table, 4 chairs, pull-out couch, and a wonderful patio area... More

This small hotel feels almost like a personal residence after a couple of days. We stayed 12/31/14 to 1/11/15. After staying a few nights in a room with two beds, microwave, small refrigerator and coffee/toaster combo, we asked to extend our stay and moved into a suite, which is more like an apartment. The rate on both rooms is reasonable... More

The room at Fort Lauderdale Beach was fitted out with everything needed for a 3-night stay - 2 very comfortable large American beds, microwave, grill oven, coffee maker, a well-equiped bathroom, etc. Friendly manager and female co-worker. A short walk to the beach - unfortunately it was windy during our stay in November and we did not see a soul... More

This Hotel was great for a 3-4 day getaway weekend. 2-3 blocks to the beach with beach chairs and towels provided since we flew into Florida. I loved the private oasis feel of the Hotel. I really enjoyed having a kitchenette and living room. It felt like a mini apartment instead of a typical hotel room.

havent been in a few years. This time we got a suite. What a treat at such a reasonable price. John & Mary are wonderful hosts. We were there for the boat parade. Wifi, plenty of cable stations, pool and free use of gas grill. Very spacious Hugs Jerry n Audrey

We stayed two weeks last November. Great place and great owners. Reasonable price and not too far from the beach. Situated in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, laundry facilities pool, BarBQ and gazebos available for guests. Linen changed every day We also had a fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed having breakfast outside on our private little patio table. We are... More

We stayed at this spot on October 19th for one night. It was a gem in a great location, with very welcoming hosts. The room was very well presented and had excellent amenities. We hope to return in the near future.

Traveling as a couple, we stayed in a corner suite/studio with a kitchen for three nights. We loved it's laid back atmosphere and our own table on the patio, for breakfasts or late night drinks. Nice pool and quiet location, short walk to the beach. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We only had a minor... More
