I have stayed here often in the past and accepted it's weaknesses but now it is under new management and it shows! Cleaner overall, gardens tended, plumbing fixed etc.. The new staff is very friendly and professional. I will stay here again and again... More

The Windamar should be billed as a bath house/motel. It offers nothing more than that. If that's the type oaccommodationon you are looking for, it's great. If not, choose one of the many alternatives in the area. More

I've just completed a 4 night stay at the Windamar Resort and I must say that in spite of what some of the other reviewers have shared, I thought it was just great and had a fantastic time. The Windamar is a medium-sized (18 rooms) facility that might be getting a bit old, but is still rather nicely maintained. My... More

I stayed for two nights on my way home from being in Key West for Pride Fest and it was so nice and relaxing. I was able to walk to the beach as well as to some nice places to eat. There weren't many other people staying there at the time but everyone was really nice. The room was clean... More

Three of us traveled and shared two rooms. One (the junior suite) was great; the other (the executive suite) was terrible - no working TV, Internet or light switches. I lasted one night and just moved down the block to the Atlantic at triple the price, where everything works. My friends in the junior suite are very happy after 4... More

For under $100 per night you get a clean, nicely funished room with quality linens/bed. 24 hour pool/hot tub, one block to the beach, parking, porn, "day passers" to play with and friendly staff. Now for the funky: Padded sofas/loungers/cabanas smell like gym socks and stained; in desparte need of cleaning. Playroom downstairs is a great idea but lacks everything... More

My spouse and I stayed there April 17th to the 19th. We had a great time. We met some awesome people there. The location was amazing!! The Beach was literally 20 steps from the exit. They provided beach chairs and a cooler for me to bring drinks to the beach. Alcohol is not allowed on the beach but hide it... More

Not the greatest place but a decent bargain. Guys at the pool were pretty gross. Pretty cruizy but mostly an older crowd. Rooms were just OK. Decent location though a block from the ocean. Staff was nice. More
