My partner and I recently stayed at the Villa Venice, part of the Worthington and Alcazar resorts, in Fort Lauderdale. The rooms were updated and very clean. The staff as always were friendly as were the guests. We meet several new friends which we keep in touch with. We highly recommend staying here

Second time I have stayed at this complex, first time to have a room at the Villa Venice building. If anything, the owners seem to have improved things. Excellent mattresses in Villa Venice room (on the softer side, if that matters). Excellent sound-proofed windows for a good night's sleep. All the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I stayed here last minute and the experience was great. The place was very clean. The front desk person was extremely helpful and the room attendant made sure I had everything I needed. Definately a place I would stay again.

...but this place is great. Everyone - staff and guests - are very friendly and welcoming. I was there for my bachelor party and so I especially nervous because I wanted everyone to feel comfortable. They did. We had a great time. Highly recommend. The rooms are fine - typical beach vacation rooms. Don't come expecting a WOW suite at... More

Although the breakfast. Old have had a few more choices, you would really have to nit pick at this stylish, ultra clean and well managed jewel...Super nice staff matched by really nice and classy clientele...you cannot go wrong in this truly NAKED resort...a few seconds from the beach, and a few minutes drive from the rest of Fort Lauderdale....Our suite... We just finished a 4 day stay at Villa. We had the suite and the room was ever=n better then we expected. The staff is so friendly and make you feel at home..When we checked in and Dennis remembered us staying last year! The meeting of people was great! We are looking at staying there maybe this may but for... More

We used to go to Villa Venice when it was privately owned. Now as a part of Worthington the personal touch is gone. No bathrobes, poor quality bathtowels. With Christmas there was no X-mas decorations, No extra's for Chirstmas breakfast, No daily bottle of water in the fridge. etc etc Breakfast is a poor experience overall. Since the price level... First off, know that the Villa Venice is the latest acquisition of the Worthington, which already acquired the Alcazar some years ago. The three function as one. We stayed in the Villa Venice portion, thus this review falls under Villa Venice. But everything except our specific room applies to the other portions as well. Worthington/Alcazar/Villa Venice is one of a... More

Thank you for your review, I appreciate your comments and suggestions. We are still working our way through the rooms and updating artwork, etc.... I agree with you on that. STAYED this week at Villa Venice. Our second time at this section of Worthington resort. No problems everything was great. The only thing we all did not like(group I was with), is they changed the lighting while we were there and it was just too bright at night. If you go in front to Worthington at night it is more... We stayed at the Villa Venice prior to our cruise. Villa Venice is part of the Worthington / Alcazar / Villa Venice "complex". They share three pools, two hot tubs, great staff, and friendly guests from around the world. From thin to bears, young to old, everyone feels welcome and gets along. A continental breakfast is served which while not... More
