Our stay at Tranquillo was certainly memorable. Since I got less than two hours of sleep, I can remember every detail! It began as a seemingly pleasant one-night stopover for us on our way to another destination. We were greeted by a charming receptionist named Olivia who was polite and helpful. We were supplied with a parking pass and found... More

Booked 2 rooms over a month ahead and had asked for adjoining rooms as we were an adult family travelling together. This did not happen and we were given rooms some distance apart. Rooms were big and clean but did have key locks which was a bit weird in 2015. Comfy bed. Car parking is a scam.....one night we couldn't... More

This hotel has had a terrific uplift, as well as changing the name, since we stayed here last time a few years ago. Nice newly renovated rooms with Scandinavian touch. Nice, friendy, very helpful staff. Only one complain: their computer didn't accept our credit card. So we recommend that you bring at least two cards, especially if you have cards... More

I'm conflicted about this motel/hotel scene. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. The rooms were clean, and there were some cute updates like fun furniture and modern sinks. But, then suddenly, it falls short: You're handed a real key at check-in--something that doesn't make us customers feel secure. (come on, Tranquilo--the 1960's called and wants their copy-able and non-secure... More

Found hotel on booking.com and thought it looked pleasant enough. Did enjoy that our room had a kitchenette so we could prepare our own food. Also hotel was very quiet! A bit pricey in my opinion and I do believe for that price parking should be included ( separate fee of 10.00) but very close to beach which was awesome!

Very comfortable hotel located just a 5min walk to the beach. Hotel has a great pool and offers free beach chairs and umbrellas to bring to the beach (although first come first serve). Rooms are clean and comfortable and ours came with a mini fridge which was handy. Close to Hugh Taylor Birch state park which is a great location... More

Way cheaper than most hotels nearby and the size of a studio apartment. 3 blocks from the beach!! We had #106 across from the main check in building. Main pool looked nice. They even had chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach for free if we wanted. The woman who checked us in was super nice and a wonderful... More

We really enjoyed our time at the Tranquilo. The unit we stayed in has a King bedroom, plus living room with sofa bed. The room was clean and attractive. "Basic, Ikea Style" like the previous reviewer described it. The sofa bed is two pieces, which actually separate to make a bed on the floor, which was fine but not ideal.... More

I booked it on low season. No spring breaks, etc. Hotel was very quiet. I booked the room with one BRoom, and a living. Huge room. Very clean. Staff was friendly. everything was ok. we even used an outside sector with a table and some chairs, to take a lunch, near the pool.

Booked online on the day of stay, had never been to the area before. It's in a half decent location for the money, 5min walk from the beach, 20min straight down the beach promenade to bars etc - about 3 miles from las olas bvld. Accommodation was OK, fairly clean but very basic. Nothing wrong with it, but it is... More
