This is a good gay centric hotel near the beach n Ft Lauderdale. Be prepared for a walk to the beach, but don't let that hold you back. The hotel is mid century with nicely maintained grounds. The staff is attentive. It was easy to find. The room was spacious and clean. I would stay there again.

Stayed 3 nights at Retro Schubert - and definitely plan to return. Rooms are huge with quality furnishings. Kitchen has sink in a long counter with fridge and microwave. Classic 50s style resort, with the original charm but with modern and tastefully appointed rooms. Place is kept immaculate with pool and hot tub and loads of flowering and green vegetation.
