This hotel is very good for before and after cruise stays. The rooms are large, stylish and everything is very clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. The concierge lounge is superb, very well stocked and the young lady who manages the lounge in the mornings is wonderful, kind, friendly and very accommodating. The concierge lounge is one of the very... More

I called to make a change to a reservation, the reservation agent did not inform me that if I made that change I would be giving up my guaranteed 2 Q bed rooms (3 rooms) . After receiving a confirmation that stated the rooms went from guaranteed 2 Queen bedded rooms to them being sold out , which meant a... More

I'll start off by explaining my issue with the manager and then continue with my hotel review which actually has improved since my last stay. My last review was responded to here on Trip Advisor by Lori, the manager. She wanted me to contact her and these are her words "I am disappointed to hear you cancelled your reservation with... Staff pleasant, rooms comfortable, situated in a handy situation close to all amenities. Many restaurants within a walk. Trolley bus at door. Water taxi down the road. Good shopping at doorstep. But the beat thing of all is that it is a cruise hotel and they are set up to transfer you to the port that is just down the... More

I was welcomed as a Platinum member at the front desk, received my room preference (high floor, King Bed) and of course, given access to the Concierge Lounge. The room was definitely updated, the furniture, carpet, bathroom, etc. were all quite clean and modern. I could see the Atlantic Ocean over the 17th St bridge, which was a nice perk.... More

Loved this place. Wish I could have had the room longer but I only stayed one night. The room was very comfortable and nice antiqueish entrance of the lobby while my room was very nice modern style decor n good room service. I'd stay here again if I ever got a good deal again cuz usually I couldn't afford this... More

Loved this hotel! We had a late flight and so a late check in. Everyone was so helpful and the free hotel shuttle and friendly driver was at the airport to pick us up in less than 5 minutes. Our room was beautiful-clean and big! We signed up for the shuttle to Port Everglades for the next morning. Breakfast was... More

To be honest, we were never coming back to the Renaissance after a bad experience 2 1/2 years ago. SO GLAD we changed our minds and returned. Totally refurbished. Shiny and modern. They even upgraded us to The captains suite...guess we looked exhausted. Beyond the upgrade and perks the most important thing to us was the ATTITUDE! These people really... More

We stayed at the hotel one night prior to our cruise on the Allure of the seas. We arrived around 7:30pm and when we arrived we were told that we could not have a rollaway bed in our room even though on our reservation it stated that we would have one. Upon check-in they old us that we would not... More

We stay the night before our cruises because it is across the street from the cruise terminal. Hint, consider taking a taxi to the terminal vs the shuttle if 2 or more people. Cost a little more but no cattle car. You can walk to restaurants and shops. We routinely dine at Bimini boatyard which is a minute walk from... More
