We upgraded to this hotel for our 3 day stay in FL. Arriving late n Xmas day obviously at very low staff levels check in was very slow, no food available even from room service. Room equipment levels are quite basic but functional if a little 'tired'. One of our rooms had not been cleaned properly on arrival the bed... More

We stayed the night before a cruise because we had bad experiences at several other hotels on previous cruises. It was excellent for our purposes. We had a large room with a nice view of the pool,a huge bath room with a shower that could fit a group of people. The room was slightly rundown but not distressingly so. We... More

We stayed in this hotel before and after a cruise; it is convenient to the Ft Lauderdale Cruise Port. It has a beautiful setting, pools, spa and fitness center, and feels like a resort. The rooms are a bit dated and might need some minor maintenance but are large, clean and comfortable. We walked to the Ft. Lauderdale Beach, about... More

I was under the impression from reviews that this hotel has a water taxi stop, so hiked to this location from another hotel. We walked all over the grounds, asking where the stop was and were given directions to different sites by several people. Tired and exhausted from running all over the place, we finally found a person who told... More

We stay at Hyatt properties a lot and I am a Gold Passport Diamond member so know what to expect from a Hyatt. We hadn't stayed here for years as the last time we were here it was pretty run down. The public spaces were certainly smarter. I had used a suite upgrade for our stay and as per my... More

So my wife and I arrived at the hotel at about midnight from a long day of flights, we we were checked into a room in the older section. The room seemed like a 5 min walk. That would have been ok if we didn't half to turn around 5 min later... After entering the well described run down rooms,... More

The bell/valet captain Bobby was wonderful! He got all our bags (11 !) and did so exactly on time and got us a van we were on our way. So friendly and courteous. Great job, Bobby! He couldn't have been better! Thanks!

A fantastic port side location , beautiful reception area ,friendly staff but sadly this property falls down in a number of areas As mentioned by other reviewers the rooms are old and in need of facelift , noisy air con is just one of the issues. We had two rooms , one had faulty safe , no hairdryer and both... More

Amazing property inside and out. The rooms are especially spacious and have large expansive views. I was in three rooms in the Tower and all were spacious, had large window views that included palm trees and water. There were large 3 outdoor pools that were super clean and inviting and surrounded by lush landscaping. Evan Laub the Front Office Supervisor... More
