Tried Staying at The Royal Palms 100% Gay Resort on the Corner of Orton Blvd, near the beach, BUT They over booked Our stay, That is to say, When we went to check In they were BOOKED Solid. The owner, Roger told me the place was laidback, which it very much was. BUT , it was to the point of total indiffernece. Breakfast was supposed to be at 8am, usually was 8:30 and a couple times 9am!! Pool was very small had maybe 3 chairs where you could get sun. It forced you to go to the beach... more
Nestled amongst the gay hotels of Fort Lauderdale beach, this property was the cheapest motel we could find. Clothing optional and men-only, it was a little dated, but comfortable and relatively clean.
